It's October 5th. Welcome in. This is New York Rangers News Today, where your team meets AI. I'm Corey with the story.

Yo, so let's talk goaltending for a minute. Igor Shesterkin for the New York Rangers is on fire right now.

He stopped 24 shots and even scored a goal and a 5-1 win over Tampa Bay this week. That's a strong start to the season for sure. Then there's Jeremy Swayman from Boston. He's been lighting it up as well. He's won both of his starts and stopped 54 out of 57 shots, including a shutout against the Rangers. With three games coming up this week, he's definitely a hot pickup. Over in Minnesota, Jesper Wallstedt is also thriving. He started off with two wins, letting in just two goals on 47 shots. The Wilds got some tough road matchups this week, but Wallstedt's got the skills to handle it. On the flip side, not everything's looking rosy.

Tristan Jarry and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen are really struggling. Jarry led in six goals in his first game, and Luukkonen hasn't looked sharp either. It might be time to look for some other options if you need a reliable goalie. So, keep an eye on those schedules.

Several teams are playing four games this week, while some are dealing with back-to-backs. Make sure you're adjusting your lineups accordingly, because this could be a crucial week for fantasy managers.
