Only a true friend would be that truly honest. Welcome to Primary Technology, the show about the tech news that matters. We have a bunch of stuff this week. We got CarPlay in boats, Apple News ads that are weird, Anthropix models are also hacking companies. We're gonna do a deep dive in why Bending Spoons is not a great company to be acquiring all the things. Google had an AI shakeup, the FCC banned robot vacuums and a ton more. This episode is brought to you by Framer, CleanMyMac and you, the members who support us directly. I'm one of your hosts, the developer, Stephen Robles, because my app is now in the App Store. I'm going by my friend, developer, Jason Aten. How's it going, Jason?

**Jason Aten** (0:33)
I was not prepared for that introduction.

**Stephen Robles** (0:35)
Listen, the developer is a joke. I don't call myself a developer, but CanDo, which I talked about on last week's episode, it's in the App Store. It's live, launched.

**Jason Aten** (0:43)
Did you know there's, I'm sorry to tell you this.

**Stephen Robles** (0:45)
There's another CanDo app. Yeah.

**Jason Aten** (0:47)
I was very confused. I almost downloaded it.

**Stephen Robles** (0:50)
It's not a Kanban app though. It's definitely not.

**Jason Aten** (0:53)
It's a motor skills measurement tool, which I was like, maybe Stephen sent me this because he thinks I need to become more co-ordinate.

**Stephen Robles** (0:58)
No, no, I looked up the name. But anyway, yeah, CanDo is in the app store. I'll put it there. I actually have a video going live in one minute as we record on my YouTube channel talking all about it. But we have a bunch of stuff to talk about. But number one, do you know where that movie quote was from?
Only a true friend would be that truly honest.

**Jason Aten** (1:15)
I don't know which one, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the Shrek movies.

**Stephen Robles** (1:19)
Yes, that's correct.

**Jason Aten** (1:20)
I don't know which one.

**Stephen Robles** (1:21)
I think it's from the first Shrek.

**Jason Aten** (1:23)
Okay, I think it's Donkey talking to Shrek, right?

**Stephen Robles** (1:25)
I think you're right. I can't say that word because I say it funny and then everyone's going to comment.
Whenever I say it, I usually say Donkey and then everybody does.

**Jason Aten** (1:33)
I thought you were going to say Shrek was really hard for you to say. No, no, no, it's Donkey.

**Stephen Robles** (1:37)
Donkey? I don't know how to say that word. Anyway, we want to give a five-star review shout out to our man, 1999 from the USA, loves the show. We break down the tech news, gives insights. Thank you for that. If you're in the US especially, we're trying to get 500 reviews in the United States. We love five-star ratings and reviews from all over the world. We love seeing it. We'll give you a shout out at the top of the show. Thanks for doing that. Also, we talked about, which I think I listened back to last week's episode, and your Jurassic Park AI analogy, I think was just spot on. I enjoyed that analogy.
I called for shirts, and we did actually get a shirt design. Theo from the UK.
This is a-

**Jason Aten** (2:13)
That's what that, I get it now. Okay.

**Stephen Robles** (2:15)
I didn't understand it. It says, the show we talked about being a herbivore. We want AI to be a herbivore so it doesn't eat us. And so he made this for the front of the shirt says herbivore, but it's Herb AI, Capital AI Vore. And then there's a plant on the back. I thought that was a very fun shirt. We'd love to entertain more short ideas. Maybe we even put some in the merch store. AI Jurassic Park, that theme, whatever you want to do. I thought that'd be pretty fun.
And the Medieval Knight riding the polar bear has made it to another location. This is Santi. He's also in my shortcuts community. Thank you Santi. But Burlington, Vermont says it's his favorite pin. So there it is. That's a really nice scenery too. That's at sunset with the boats. We got there at golden hour. That's the nicest scenery the Knight has ever seen.
I don't know. It looks pretty nice.

**Jason Aten** (2:57)
That's nice.

**Stephen Robles** (2:58)
It's nice. You ever been up there, like Maine area?

**Jason Aten** (3:00)
I have been to Maine once.

**Stephen Robles** (3:02)
It's very nice up there.

**Jason Aten** (3:03)
I've been to Boston several times, but I've been to Maine one time. Yeah.
