Welcome to the Mother of All Talkshows. I'm Christopher Helali, filling in for the one and only, the almighty George Galloway. Tonight, we have a lot to cover, and there's a lot of things going on around the world, which I hope to help lead you all into understanding and through. First, we're going to talk about what's going on in the Middle East, especially the ongoing Israeli genocidal war in Gaza, in South Lebanon, the ongoing hostilities and wars of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. We'll be taking a look at what's going on in Eastern Europe, a surprise visit by the CIA director in Moscow. And we'll be taking a look at what's going on in the United States, especially as the midterm elections approach. We'll be joined tonight by veteran CIA analyst Larry Johnson, by political analyst and journalist and host of Legitimate Targets, Jackson Hinkle, and by the famed RT journalist Steve Sweeney, who is the RT bureau chief in Lebanon.

So we're starting tonight with some surprising news over the past few days. We heard yesterday that a C-17 from the United States Air Force made a surprise landing in Moscow. Many were curious and wondering what was going on. What we later found out was that a motorcade was spotted in and around Moscow which entered the Kremlin area.
Of course, it was holding none other than CIA Director John Radcliffe. A lot of media has been buzzing about the visit.
Many have now indicated that it was due to stalled talks on Ukraine. Others have said that it was about a message being delivered on behalf of the US administration to President Putin and to the colleague of the CIA Director, the head of the SVR. What we know is that clearly the situation is extremely tense to say the least. The ongoing war in Ukraine, the ongoing NATO aggression, and that's how we have to characterize it. The US EU NATO war on the Russian Federation is certainly heating up. We've seen that the Ukrainian government has been targeting civilian infrastructure and civilian industries all throughout the Russian Federation, not only the Donbass, but far afield, as far away as past the Urals. We've seen attacks on wild berry, logistic centers and warehouses. We've seen attacks on bridges. And most egregiously, we've seen war crimes committed against civilians throughout the Russian Federation. So, that all to say that we are seeing that the special military operation on the side of Russia and the war of aggression on the side of the Ukrainian regime is picking up steam. And so, many are trying to run for a diplomatic solution where there probably is not one left and one available at this point. Clearly because the Ukrainian government is uninterested in any sort of peaceful dialogue and is interested in continuing its assault against the Russian Federation. We're seeing nightly raids by drones on Moscow and many other major cities. But the Russian Federation's air defense units and their drone units are doing a stellar job in keeping the Ukrainian drones away from many of the city centers and from inflicting massive harm along the lines of the civilian population, especially in some key areas. We've seen over the past weeks increased attacks and we've seen that the Russian president has said that clearly there needs to be justice served for these ongoing attacks and aggression. And we've seen the nightly raids by the Russian armed forces on Kiev and on many other centers, especially shutting down the port in Odessa and attacks on military industrial facilities throughout the parts of Ukraine, still under the control of the Ukrainian government. We've also seen attacks against logistic centers, which supply drones and other armaments to the front.
So all in all, the war in Eastern Europe is heating up. At the same time, the aggression is heating up in the Middle East. We've seen the ongoing hostilities in the south of Lebanon, which many people are not speaking about. I'm very excited that Steve Sweeney, RT journalist and bureau chief in Lebanon will be joining us tonight to break down exactly what's going on in Lebanon. Lebanon is experiencing a tremendous amount of devastation and bombardment by the Israeli regime. We've seen that it has experienced the largest ethnic cleansing since the Nakba, with over 1.2 to 1.3 million people displaced from the south of Lebanon. Many of the border villages, in some of which are well known, including Hula, have been absolutely decimated with 70 plus percent of their homes and infrastructure completely destroyed, not by chance, but on purpose, blown up by explosives that have been detonated by the Israeli occupation.
