At war with itself. At war with its own regimes. And following the overnight trajectory of the Ukrainian missiles that hit the St. Petersburg oil refinery, we're already at war with Russia. That is for sure.

Donald Trump hails the great warrior leader, Benjamin Netanyahu. That should do for him in the polls coming up rapidly. As a matter of fact, the entire world political system is undergoing dramatic change in front of our eyes. The tectonic plates have shifted. It's going to be a hell of an earthquake. History doesn't repeat itself, but it frequently rhymes. Yesterday was a red letter day in France, but then it has been for quite some considerable time. As France was burning, as Andrew Neil and others were weeping about the lost treasures in the town hall in Limoges and its bell tower, I was remembering it was the 166th anniversary of when Britain and France set fire to the summer palace of the Chinese emperor in Beijing. They destroyed it completely. Nobody was crying in the West about the artifacts, the cultural treasures that were put to the sword, put to the torch, except those artifacts and cultural treasures that were looted from the palace. And now still 166 years later are to be found, are to be viewed in the British Museum in London. Spare me, you hypocrites, and your fear of flames, your fear of frying, 166 years. And you people have the goal, if you'll forgive the pun, to condemn and de-risk from China. You people have the goal to criticize China, to seek to lecture China. You should be kowtowing on your bellies in the presence of the government of China. And even then, if it was me, I'd tell you to go and stick it where the sun don't shine. But the Chinese are much wiser and more circumspect than I. It was a red-letter day in 1961 Also, on the anniversary yesterday, 1961, just before the Beatles, roughly the time of Billy Fury, Billy J. Kramer, hundreds of Algerians, hundreds were murdered in those very same streets of Paris. We don't know how many hundreds, because the French police threw them into the river Seine, and many of the bodies were never seen again. Hundreds of them were floating in the river Seine in my lifetime, in the lifetime of Andrew Neil, though he never mentions that. You hypocrites talking about unrest in Paris Why don't you hold accountable the people responsible for the unrest? Not responsible for the reaction, but responsible for the crimes. You want to talk about the looting of high-end, overpriced, vastly profitable boutique stores in Paris, in Bordeaux, in Marseille? Let me take you on a walk amongst the canyons of horror in the slums of these great French cities. Let me take you for a walk through a hospital ward in France, where people are not lying on trellis. They're already full. They're lying on the ground. They are waiting days to be seen, even when it's an emergency. They're waiting years for hospital operations that their doctors have determined they require. Let me take you on a walk amongst the schools, colleges, and universities of France, denuded of all that made the French enlightenment such a world changing period in human history. Let me tell you why the hospitals, the schools, the public realm in Paris, in France, is such a junkyard, because Emmanuel Macron, the Tony Blair of French politics, has given hundreds of billions of euros of the French people's money to the thief of Kiev, hundreds of millions of which has been promptly loaded into the boots of even minor officials. Of Zelensky's corrupt regime and driven out of the country, buying real estate all over the world, including, of course, as you know, President Macron in France itself. You want to tell me that the French, the people of the French Revolution, the people who guillotined and cut short forever, the rule of the French branch of the Bourbons, who learned nothing, history tells us, and who forgot nothing either.

They guillotined their last ruler, who mocked their poverty, who mocked their anger, whose wife famously opined. Why are they rioting? They have no bread? Then let them eat cake. Well, the modern equivalent, how perfect was the Celine Dion concert attended by Macron and Mr. Macron at the Opera House, dancing, literally dancing the night away in the luxury special boxes reserved for the French ruling elite, while their people mustered and gathered, nursing their wrath to keep it warm. And then he fled. He fled the coop. He was nowhere to be seen. His whereabouts, a closely guarded secret for security reasons. The people, of course, committed stupid crimes, harming other suffering people in France.
