Okay, our friends, so today we are going to make some noise. What kind of noise are you asking?

What are they gonna make?

Well, first of all, we're going to make the sound of noises that come from your mouth. We're gonna talk. But more than that, we're gonna get you thinking about other kinds of noises that you might hear all around the world. So buckle up, you guys, because today's story is called Rumble and Roar.

Mr. Chicken Nugget. Are you with a sauce or anything like that? Yeah. What kind of sauce?
What kind of sauce are you with? Chick-fil-A barbecue sauce. Chick-fil-A barbecue sauce. Very specific. Okay. Today's story is read by Mommy and Mr. Chicken Nugget with a side of Chick-fil-A barbecue sauce. Are you ready? Let's do it. When we open the book, we can see a bunch of kids, and it says, sounds abound the world around. And that's just a fun way of saying that all around are an abundance a lot of sounds. Listen, hear, cup your ear. Do you know what that means to cup your ear?
Does it mean to put a cup over your ear?
No, it means to take your hand and form like a seat to turn your hand into a cup. And then you put your hand cup over your ear or around your ear so that you can hear a little bit better. You put it around your ear. Wake, stir, whistle, whir.
So in the picture, we can see a little boy who has just woken up. The sun has come up, he is outside, he is stirring. Not with a cup or a spoon or anything like that, but his body is moving. And he's out with his dog playing in the yard. Now, hearts thump, beat, and pump, did you know? And in the picture, we can see their mama's holding her little boy up to her tummy, but she's got a baby inside of her. And he can probably hear the heartbeat from that baby inside of her. Did you know that as early as 10 weeks along, mommy's babies in their tummies can have heartbeats that they can hear? You can hear them? That's fascinating. And in the picture, we can see the hearts of all these different animals too. And they're all bumping and thumping. Snarl, growl, screech, and howl. These are sounds that would be made by a fox or a dog or an owl or a wolf.
Chirp, hum, drip, drop, drum.
These are sounds that might be made by birds, right? Or rain falling down. We can see a kid out on a hike with his mama and they are out seeing the things in the forest.

Babble, whoosh, roar, and whoosh.

These are sounds you might hear at a waterfall. We were just at a waterfall, weren't we? And you can hear the water making all kinds of noises. Water can roar like a lion might, right?
Just and flow.
Those are sounds that might come from a volcano. Yeah, if it explodes, that would be quite a big blast. And in the picture, we can see that very thing happening. The volcano has blown open, we call that an eruption, right? For that explosion, it's pretty scary. Now, crunch, snap, squawk and flap. In the picture, we can see some more hikers, a dad and it looks like his daughter, and they are hiking along. They have snapped a limb or a stick off of a tree. And when they crunched it off, a bird who was probably sitting on it, squawked at them and flapped away because he said, hey, don't interrupt me.
Now, what's going on in this picture is we've got a little girl in the Alps, I want to say, with her cows who have bells around them. Do you know why cows wear bells? It's so that you can hear where they are. And if they wander off in a different field, you can still hear them echoing, their bells echoing. But too much noise in the mountains can also cause what this what we can see in this picture is the crack and slide of snow. It's an avalanche and it's just sliding right down the mountainside. Now, this picture is nowhere near the Alps. There's no mountains here. This looks like it's in Africa, maybe in the Sahara. And we hear, Trumpet, pound, shake the ground, because there are elephants. And the elephants are on the move and they trumpet with their trunks.
