Welcome to the Mother of All Talk shows, live in front of a studio audience of what seems like hundreds from the University of Venda in South Africa.

Who knows this could be the last time nuclear war appears imminent. Fears are growing of an Israeli, United States nuclear attack on Iran. And after a record number of missile and drones hitting Moscow, destroying the main refinery, it looks like it's only a matter of time before the Russians hit back. Mind you, the right honorable member for the 19th century, Sir Jacob Rees-Mong, has said that some of us may die. That's a sacrifice he is prepared to make. The Liberal Democrats have called for a register so that British people can sign up so that they can be mobilized in the event of war. I'm not making any of this up. This is The Mother of All Talk Show. Stay tuned.

Where do I start? Let me start with my erstwhile Parliamentary colleague, Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg, Right Honorable, because he's still a Privy Councillor, though no longer a Member of Parliament, but now a television star, and he's just told us in that 19th century way of his, that it's looking like Europe is about to be at war, and that some of us may die. Duh! Some of us may die, but not him, not any of his six children, I'll warrant. But it is a sacrifice he's prepared to make. He tells us it's our duty.

Anyone with two brain cells to rub together must be pinching themselves and wondering if this is all real. European politicians appear ready, either at Kaliningrad, making a strike through the Suwaki Gap, or through the Baltics, or through Finland, actually declaring war on the Russian Federation. The Russian Federation might beat them to it, because actually the European Union is already at war with the Russian Federation. And if you didn't believe that, well, you obviously won in Moscow overnight. Well, the largest attack of the war on the Russian heartland, on the Russian capital was launched by NATO using the name Ukraine. But of course, these missiles are all supplied by NATO states. They are piloted, metaphorically speaking, by NATO states. The materiel and the expertise is all provided by NATO states. So, I mean, Vladimir Putin is a patient kind of guy, but you would have to have the patience of a saint to continue to tolerate such massive attacks on your capital city from European adversaries. In a war that they haven't had the guts to declare. And if they did, their own public might have something to say about it. This is the most dangerous moment since the end of the Second World War, because the Ukraine is not the only theater which may erupt in continental war.

Opinion is hardening in the Persian Gulf that either Israel or the United States, although both are the same thing, are about to make a nuclear strike against Iran. Well, nothing else is working. The Straits of Hormuz is not open. The Iranian nuclear program has not been destroyed. Nothing conventional can be done about either of those problems. You can't conventionally open the Straits of Hormuz when the Iranians can rain down missiles on any ship that enters or attempts to leave it. You cannot destroy the missile capability, staggering as it has been developed in Iran from any conventional standpoint at all. These missiles are deep under mountains. And so, the conclusion that is fast being reached is that either they walk away from this war, call it a draw, and leave the region, or they go nuclear. That's been the prevailing view in Tel Aviv, of course, throughout the crisis. But there are many signs that it is becoming the point of view of President Trump himself. Why do I say so? Every American embassy in the entire Middle East has just closed down. All American diplomats, all American citizens have been told to leave the Middle East. The nuclear assets are in place where? In Britain, if there is a nuclear bomb dropped on Iran, it will have taken off from the green fields of England. Of Diego Garcia, who owns Diego Garcia? Yes, you guessed it. The truth is that the conundrum that is the Iran War is destroying the presidency of the United States. It's destroying Donald Trump's entire political position. And November is very, very soon. And the stakes could not be higher in the congressional elections because if the House falls to the Democrats, the House will pass impeachment motions against Donald Trump practically every day, certainly every week. But if the Senate also falls against the Republicans, for the Democrats, who don't have a leader, who don't have an alternative policy, but they are not Donald Trump and they are not the Republican Party, if they then control the House and the Senate, then the possibility looms that these impeachment motions being passed by the House will be authorized by the Senate and Donald Trump will be removed from office and then subject to criminal proceedings having left office. Now, if you were Donald Trump, you might decide that something totally dramatic has got to happen. And that's what the Iranians think is about to happen. The Iranians are bracing themselves for such a nuclear attack. And then an invasion, an invasion presumably far distant from the nuclear explosion itself, will take place on the ground with United States personnel entering through the American satrapies of the Arab side of the Persian Gulf, through the Kurdish areas in Iraq, through the proxies of the United States Empire.
