Richard Allen's Lawyer Says Delphi Police Saw a Tattoo Shaped Like This and Moved On

Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary

September 30, 2026

Mark Leeman had thirty minutes at the Indiana Court of Appeals on September 21, 2026, and he spent part of it on a man who is not Richard Allen. That argument could send the Delphi murders case back for a new trial, and it starts with a tattoo.

The state-built narrative that Richard Allen, a guy with zero criminal history, just decided to commit this bizarre, deliberately staged crime on his day off. But what they kept from the jury is that there was another man on the radar, a man whose own social media and tattoos matched the very specific staging left at the crime scene.

Listen how the defense laid this out and how the state brushed it away. We're about to take a look at a clip here about matching ruins. Leeman drops an absolute bombshell here about an alternate suspect named Brad Holder. He details the matching bind room tattoo, the terrifying social media post and how police explicitly refused to reopen the investigation.

Bob Motta (1:00)

In March of 2017, they get two tips.

SPEAKER_4 (1:02)

He has a solid alibi as well.

Bob Motta (1:05)

It is not a solid alibi. His voice was identified through tips as being the voice of Bridge Guy and he was identified as looking similar to Bridge Guy in those tips. Then they look at this alibi and they say, if it is not, we clear it.

Then the Indiana State Police receives new information about Brad Holder where it is effectively, he has made a tattoo or a mark that he has published on his hand that is a combination of his words as an is a rune and a geby rune, making a bind rune that just so happens to match the formation of the carefully balanced sticks on Abby, the girl that he knew that was at the murder scene.

And they, Officer Winters goes to his boss, says, hey, this looks pretty bad. He's posting up pictures of girls pretending to be dead with sticks on their bodies. Are we going to reopen the investigation? His boss says, no, we cleared it. He said, well, I don't care. We cleared him. Why shouldn't we revisit this question?

SPEAKER_4 (2:04)

Did he give, was he given a polygraph?

Bob Motta (2:07)

Not that I'm aware of. OK.

Tony Brueski (2:10)

So I mean, once people start learning about these things, and it's interesting because even that judge there was like, well, he has a solid alibi as well. No, he doesn't. I mean, it's easy. So many people, it seems, took pieces of information, took it as fact that the police told them, and then refused to look further or failed to look further because they thought somebody else did that job. Turns out they didn't. Oh, so well, at all, in many cases.

Or maybe purposefully didn't look. These are pretty big allegations. And obviously, Brad Holder maintains his innocence. He hasn't really spoken about anything, but his name continues to come up here in these conversations, obviously, even in this hearing.

Robin Drake (2:52)

Yeah.

They landed on Holder is kind of the main dude.

You know, and here's my thing, and it's always been my thing with this case. And anybody who watches our channel knows that you attack the timeline. You always attack the timeline. And in this case, in terms of the defense, and I told Andy, you know, Andy Baldwin, I'm friends with them. He's one of Allen's defense attorneys. I'm like, you gotta fucking attack this timeline, man. I'm like, this assumption that that's when the girls were killed is absurd. They have no evidence of that. They're trying to pigeonhole it into like a Murdoch time of death situation where they basically used Maggie and Paul's phones when they stopped being used as a time of death.

And here, that just doesn't work because what the state of Indiana elected to do is put on evidence to make it seem like Richard Allen was the only fucking guy out on that bridge. Not only that day, but around that time, which is just patently false, patently false.

And the point of bringing that up is that if you've ever visited the trails, and I have visited the Monon High Bridge, I have been out on the trails many, many times. And in the fall, after the leaves have dropped and they're all laying on the ground, and you're sitting out there, you can hear a fucking pin drop. If you've ever hunted, hunters will know what I'm speaking of. Hunters can hear a stick crack by an animal 500 yards away, because it's that quiet. I was there, I heard, and I was at the beginning on the north side of the Monon High Bridge, and I heard a little crinkling of leaves up on this berm. That was probably 50 yards away from me, and up probably another 30 yards. And I look over there, it sounded like maybe it was raccoon size or bigger. I don't see anything. It could have been a deer. I don't see any kind of animal. Point being that if the girls were killed at 2 32 p.m., we're talking about two athletic teenage girls who were both killed by having their necks slit, one at a time, if there's only one perpetrator. And you're going to tell me that there's any reality that exists on this planet where the one who's not getting killed isn't screaming her fucking head off.
