If you need a reason to drink tonight, we haven't got to this yet, I've got a couple reasons. Number one, happy 60th birthday to Mike Tyson.
**SPEAKER_2** (0:11)
Yikes.
**Hammer** (0:12)
Now, 60 years old, if you're old enough to remember, he got into a little trouble here in the great state of Indiana.
Our former midday guy, not the most recent one, but one before that, may or may not have prosecuted Mike Tyson and sent him to prison in Plainfield. Greg Garrison was the prosecutor, and he wasn't scared. He put Iron Mike behind bars for the rape that allegedly, and he was ultimately convicted of, took place here in Indiana. So Jerry, my question to you, because now Mike Tyson is like some wacky beloved figure. You know, he did hangover movies. He does speaking tours where people laugh at him.
Who has done more of a 180 with their public persona? Mike Tyson or Snoop Dogg?
**Jerry** (1:06)
That's easy. That's easy.
**Hammer** (1:07)
Because Snoop Dogg went from being a guy that was in a murder case, and he wrote a song about it. Murder was the case that they gave me. He was part of Death Row Records, and now he's like the wacky grandpa covering the Olympics.
So who's done more of a 180, Mike Tyson or Snoop?
**Jerry** (1:27)
There's no doubt it's got to be Snoop. I mean, he's hosting the Winter Games with Kevin Hart, who is the darling of Hollywood. And like you said, murder was the case that gave me his first actual CD. Look it up. I guess it was a tape back then. Featured some very prominent imagery.
He looks like the Martha Stewart of rap now. He congratulates to Grandpa Snoop.
**Hammer** (1:49)
If you look at all of those guys from that gangster rap era, hell, the NWA guys alone, Dr. Dre became the headphones guy.
He made more money selling beats than he ever did making beats in his music career, which he was very successful.
And then you have Ice Cube. He wrote the lyrics for Blank the Police. He was the self-proclaimed n-word you love to hate. And now he's doing wacky family movies. Are We There Yet? Part Two. And he runs a basketball league. And I believe he was a Trump supporter in the last election.
**Jerry** (2:26)
Definitely. They came after him. I think he owed to our girl, Caitlin. He offered Caitlin a chance to come to the big three, I think is what he has.
**Hammer** (2:34)
And lastly, another reason to drink tonight. It's officially Social Media Day, National Social Media Day. Now, Jerry's Twitter was hacked, so he's not on Twitter, but Indy Spanglish is on Facebook and Instagram. You can find Hammer and Nigel, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The average person spends 141 minutes a day on social media.
And the latest numbers show over 5.4 billion people use social media last year, Jerry.
**Jerry** (3:10)
Yeah, I'm probably over that number. Are you over?
**Hammer** (3:12)
I'm over that number.
**Jerry** (3:13)
I'm constantly on just to see what's going on.
**Hammer** (3:16)
Right. And the YouTube chat, this counts as social media. So here's at least three hours every day that I'm on it. Plus, I'm usually Facebooking, I'm tweeting, I'm on Instagram. We do a lot, but it's all about how you post. Don't be the vague booker. And if that's you, Hammer and Nigel have got the remedy.
**SPEAKER_2** (3:38)
New from Hammer and Nigel. Are you a social media loser?
Not enough likes on Facebook? Nobody seems to care when you post a stupid selfie of you and your dog? Well, Hammer and Nigel have the answer.
If you're not getting the attention you deserve on Facebook, just post an intentionally vague status update, then sit back and watch the flood of concern pour in. It's real simple. All you need is a couple of words and a few punctuation marks at the end. For example, the one-word post.
**Hammer** (4:13)
Devastated, dot, dot, dot.
**SPEAKER_2** (4:16)
The religious post.
**Nigel** (4:18)
Prayers needed, dot, dot, dot.
**SPEAKER_2** (4:21)
Reminder, never say why prayers are needed. The philosophical post.
**Nigel** (4:26)
What's the point?
**SPEAKER_2** (4:28)
Question mark, question mark, question mark. There's even vague booking for millennials.
**Nigel** (4:33)
I literally just can't even right now, dot, dot, dot.
**SPEAKER_2** (4:37)
If you're an attention whore that loves when people ask what's wrong, you need vague booking for dummies. Don't forget about the regretful post.
**Hammer** (4:44)
I should have known better, dot, dot, dot.
**SPEAKER_2** (4:48)
And our personal favorite, the emotional song lyric post.
**Nigel** (4:53)
I'm sorry for everything that I've done, but when I call, you never seem to be home. Dot, dot, dot.
