It's October 7th. All right, big news coming out of New York with the Rangers. They're showing some serious improvement early in games this season. After a rough run last year, they've revamped their roster and it's paying off. So far, the Rangers have played five games, and get this, they haven't allowed a single goal in the first period. That's the longest streak like this for the franchise since 1939 It's wild to see them outscoring opponents five to nothing during those periods. That kind of defense is just what they needed. Getting off to solid starts is clearly boosting their confidence. They're riding a four game winning streak and have already snagged eight points, which is the most in the NHL right now.

It's amazing how not playing from behind can change the vibe of a team. Another big factor is their performance at home.

Last season was brutal at Madison Square Garden, but this year, they're 3-0-0 at home. That's a whole better tone for the season ahead.

They've come out swinging, hitting the boards hard right from the get-go. So yeah, it's great to see the Rangers turning things around early. They're looking like a team ready to compete and fingers crossed. This momentum carries them through the rest of the season. That wraps New York Rangers News Today brought to you with AI.
