Today is September 28th. All right, so The New York Rangers are gearing up for the regular season, starting on Tuesday. They've got a pretty clear idea of their roster going into opening night, which is a nice change after a wild summer. They've made some bold moves, especially under Chris Drury's leadership, and it looks like they're committed to turning things around after last year's struggles. That's definitely a breath of fresh air for fans. Right now, Taylor Raddysh and Dylan Garand have been placed on waivers, which seems to have solidified the roster.

Waving Garand wasn't easy, and there's a lot of anticipation around whether he'll get picked up. In goal, Igor Shesterkin and Joonas Korpisalo will be holding it down, while the team has chosen to keep eight defensemen, including Scott Morrow and Matthew Robertson. It's smart not to risk losing them for sure.

So, there's a real sense of optimism heading into this season. After putting in the work over the summer, the Rangers are aiming for a playoff spot, and their first challenge is against the Boston Bruins. Excited to see how they kick this off. That's the story for today. New York Rangers News Today, driven by AI.
