Today is October 16th, on Corey with the story. This is New York Rangers News Today, driven by AI and built for fans. Alright, so big moves coming from the New York Rangers.

They just recalled Taylor Raddysh from the Hartford Wolf Pack while sending Jaroslav Chmela down to the AHL. Got to shake things up sometimes, you know? Raddysh signed a 2-year, $3 million deal with the Rangers and has had a decent run, playing 68 games last season and putting up 9 goals and 10 assists. That experience is huge for a team looking to bolster its lineup. Chmela had a solid audition with 28 games last season and impressed during training camp, which got him on the opening night roster. It's a nice validation for him, proving he can perform at this level. But he's had limited minutes, averaging just 8 minutes and 15 seconds so far this season. Now he'll get more ice time in the AHL, which is exactly what he needs to develop further.

So it'll be interesting to see how Raddysh impacts the team, and if Chmelař can make a splash in the AHL. Definitely a lot to watch as the season unfolds.
