Rangers Plan Lineup Changes for Mammoth Clash | New York Rangers News

It's October 4th. Alright, so the Rangers are feeling pretty good to start the season. They'd kick things off with a 2-1 record and just snagged back-to-back wins against the Tampa Bay Lightning and Detroit Red Wings. Gotta love that momentum.

Now, they're gearing up to face the Utah Mammoth on Sunday, and it's shaping up to be a big game. This will be the first time Vincent Trocheck returns to Madison Square Garden since joining the Rangers, and Sean Dursey will also go up against his former team. That adds a little extra spice to the matchup, you know?

But here's the scoop. New York's looking to shake things up with their winds ahead of this game. Tye Kartey is getting bumped up to the second line to skate alongside JT Miller and Pavel Dorofyev. That's definitely an interesting change, especially since the second line has been on fire this season. Oliver Bjorkstrand is now dropping down to the fourth line, teaming up with Joe Valino and Jaroslav Shmilar.

It's surprising to see given how well Bjorkstrand, Miller and Dorofyev have played together, but maybe Sullivan's banking on Kartye bringing something new to the table. Overall, it'll be cool to see how these adjustments play out. The Rangers are definitely looking to convert more chances and extend that winning streak. Can't wait for the game.
