Today is October 20th. All right, so The New York Rangers are off to a blazing start this season. They clinched their sixth home win with a solid 5-2 victory against the Anaheim Ducks.

What's impressive is, they're currently rocking a perfect 6-0 record at Madison Square Garden. That's a nice turn coming off a rough previous season. Then there's the vibe around the team, which feels pretty similar to the Knicks NBA Championship run last summer. The Knicks had a legendary playoff performance, and now it looks like the energy is spilling over to the ice. The Rangers are clearly feeding off those positive Knicks vibes, and you can feel it in the air. On top of that, this roster overhaul looks like it was a solid move. General Manager Chris Drury brought in some real talent like Pavel Dorofyev and Sean Dursey, and it's working. They've really stepped it up and are tied for first in the Metropolitan Division. It's some unexpected, but definitely welcome news for fans.

They're also navigating the absence of Igor Shesterkin, who's out for the season with a knee injury. Backup Dylan Garand has more than stepped up with impressive stats. His performance is crucial right now, and it'll be interesting to see how they handle the goalie situation going forward. So, it's a promising start for the Rangers, and fans are definitely hoping they can keep this momentum rolling. Maybe they can turn it into a championship run just like the Knicks did. It's shaping up to be an exciting season for sure.
