Today is October 6th. I'm Corey with the story. This is New York Rangers News Today, driven by AI and built for fans. All right, so big news for the New York Rangers. They've recalled forward Cole Beaudoin from the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, and he's set to make his NHL debut against the New York Islanders. That game is going to kick off at 7:30 PM Eastern on October 6th. Beaudoin's move up comes after he put up five points in just two games with Hartford. That's one goal and four assists. He even found the back of the net against the Isles during the preseason, so he's clearly ready to make an impact. Got to love that offensive spark.

This shift also opens up some space for offensive options since fourth line center Joe Beleno is on injured reserve with a lower body issue. The Rangers are definitely looking to maintain their momentum, especially with a three game winning streak going into the matchup.

Coach Mike Sullivan noted that the roster decisions are about putting players in positions to win. They've taken a strategic approach by keeping Beaudoin in the lineup because of his performance, which is crucial when you're aiming for those early season victories.

So, with Beaudoin stepping up and the team riding some positive vibes, it should be an exciting night at Madison Square Garden. They're chasing a strong start to the season, and it could be one for the books.
