Throw Gang, we are joined by, yes, boys, it's Pink, Lawrence Lossman and myself, the king of the clown shoe, James Harris. Welcome to the Weekly Running the Boys, with today's full episode only available on.

Lawrence Lossman (0:11)

www.throwingfits.com.

James Harris (0:15)

Before we get into going fishing with the fellas, cultural violence and actual violence, let's get into ComplexCon and the death of the fit pick. Let's get to a fit check, Lawrence.

Lawrence Lossman (0:26)

Okay. I woke up a little under the weather.

James Harris (0:30)

The man in black.

Lawrence Lossman (0:32)

And I thought to myself, and I thought to myself, what would turn this day around?

James Harris (0:36)

What would Johnny Cash do?

Lawrence Lossman (0:39)

Shoot a man in Reno just to watch him die. Shoot a man. I shot a man at ComplexCon just to watch him die. So because I was kind of feeling shitty, I was like, for me.

James Harris (0:49)

Why aren't you wearing a mask then? Protect your co-hosts.

Lawrence Lossman (0:53)

Yeah.

James Harris (0:54)

You ride the subway?

Lawrence Lossman (0:55)

It was, I was hungover, dude.

I didn't want to go there. So in my thinking was, let's go chic. Let's go as chic as possible. That filthy little word. And honestly, I feel better.

James Harris (1:09)

That's great. I was thinking about this the other day about dressing in all black.

I hate it.

Lawrence Lossman (1:16)

Does this count because I have the socks and the hat?

James Harris (1:18)

Now you're in a pop of color to match the to go match. Match you with the chapeau. No, I think dressing all black.

I'm not saying it's like blanket bad. I just think too many people rely on it as a uniform and be like a quick hack into chicness in their in their understanding of it.

Lawrence Lossman (1:36)

I definitely did that this morning. It's a crutch for sure.

James Harris (1:39)

It's a crutch. It's a crutch. And I think when you do it well, whether I mean, it's more about mixing and matching textures than anything else versus just like going solid black or or silhouettes, like one of the best dressed dudes I know, shout out Cody Parks.

Lawrence Lossman (1:53)

He wears all black every day. But like it's crazy, 3D engineer garment fatigues, like big pants and like a crazy Balenciaga bomber. Like if you're going to do all black, you got to do textures. Yeah.

James Harris (2:04)

And so I just don't like how people think it's automatic. It's it's automatic.

And I also I don't like how people equate it with like, it's so New York.

Lawrence Lossman (2:12)

Dick, it's like the DK and why heyday like 90

James Harris (2:14)

Well, it started in Tokyo.

Lawrence Lossman (2:16)

Yes.

James Harris (2:16)

And then Paris, right. And then Paris and then New York.

So there you go. But yeah, I really and I know too many people, too many people like, you know, creative director types, art director, tears, creatives, general are just like, yeah, man, like, it's just it's just what I do. I'm not taking shots of you. No, I relax. Don't worry. I wasn't worried. I know. But I just think when I tell you to relax, it definitely makes you feel better.

Lawrence Lossman (2:41)

Yeah, it feels great.

James Harris (2:44)

All right. So you felt like you felt like you were dying today. So you like, let me just wear a dress. I'm going to a fucking porn star funeral.

Lawrence Lossman (2:49)

The it's funny about the crush because, yeah, I kind of didn't want to think about it. And you know where it started and I'll go. Let me work inside out or whatever. Three sixteen throwing fits, big jeans. I haven't worn them in a long time.

The fucking best. So it started with the black jeans. Then I was like, oh, shit, I got the Venti Brioni. Oh, the great dry cleaner, the grape shirt that the Travis Scott Tuxedo grape shirt that like is fresh. I'm like, oh, I don't have to iron it. Right. Boom. Right.

James Harris (3:20)

Are you going to a frat party?

Lawrence Lossman (3:24)

The the loafers are the row. The pink socks are charvay.

James Harris (3:28)

That's how that's how you when you're putting them on, is that with your head?

Lawrence Lossman (3:35)

Yeah, exactly. Yeah. And I said it and I said it twice in my head when I put each one on the saks, the saks.

The hat is small talk studio. Oh, my new shades from my shop. My confessional from last week arrived. They are Tom Ford.
