And at this point, it doesn't matter how good your team is.

**Henry Abbott** (0:03)
It doesn't matter. But sports is helpful in this, right? Mark Cuban is straight up, he's such a raw nerve, that guy.
He at least kind of tells it like it is, but he was not cool. He was a software salesperson. Yeah. And then he started this thing, he sold to Yahoo. Somehow, Yahoo bought it and they shut it down a year later.
But he became cool because he was the Dallas Mavericks billionaire, Mark Cuban. So he purchased an improved, more sparkly reputation for himself, which served a little personal life. Yeah. And I think that's a lot of the value of a sports team, is someone who's just genuinely not cool. Paul Allen could not be less cool. But I went to a Blazer game and he was there with Gina Davis. That was his date for the night.

**Liz** (0:46)
It is cool being there with Gina Davis.
But I will say, I do think if we're going to say nostalgia for even the Mark Cuban era, that increasingly the billionaire who wants to buy a team to show up his, how the homecoming queen wouldn't dance with him in high school, wherever it was. I'm sorry, buddy. That doesn't exist anymore because now, we just have trustee, manager trustees like Kushner and Iger, who are actually just sort of occupying successive command positions in these like increasingly integrated capital formations where their job isn't actually to be, you know, kind of like a face of something, but also you're just, you know, coordinating stability and reproduction of an entire accumulation system so that it can just continue to grow and appreciate infinitely rather than having a fingerprint on anything that has to do with the team or its image or its quality.

**Henry Abbott** (1:54)
Yeah, maybe. Like, I mean, I think that's one way it goes sometimes, but well, actually, to be clear, though, Joe Lacova had sex with the trophy.
