Hysteria is brought to you by iRestore. If you're ready to take your skincare routine to the next level, iRestore's new Laser Face Mask Pro is seriously impressive. It's their most advanced at-home light therapy device yet, combining 800 lasers and LEDs with eight targeted wavelengths to help improve the look of lines, wrinkles, breakouts, dark spots, redness and uneven skin tone. I use mine five or six nights a week. I kind of look like Agamemnon when I'm wearing it, and I absolutely love it. What sets it apart is that it doesn't rely on LEDs alone. Laser Face Mask Pro combines Vixo laser technology with LED light therapy for more targeted light energy and deeper penetration than traditional LED-only masks. With five smart treatment modes, Anti-Aging, Clear, Brighten, Restore, and All mode, you can customize each session based on your skin's needs. It's lightweight, cordless, and hands-free, so it's easy to fit into your routine. Just wear it for ten minutes, three to five times a week. Whether you're getting ready for the day or winding down at night, no appointments or complicated routine required. If you're ready to upgrade your skincare routine, iRestore is offering huge discounts on the new Laser Face Mask Pro. Just head to irestore.com and use code HYSTERIA. That's hysteria at irestore.com. Please support our show and tell them we sent you. Experience pro-grade skin therapy within the comfort of your home with Laser Face Mask Pro.

Hello and welcome to Hysteria. I'm Erin Ryan, and joining me today, we have a dream podcast crossover episode. Loren Piretra is here. Welcome.

Loren Piretra (1:31)

So excited to be here. Thank you, Erin.

Erin Ryan (1:32)

So, Loren, during cold opens, I usually start with a question. What is the most regrettable thing that you ever ordered after seeing it on TV?

Loren Piretra (1:41)

Does TikTok count as TV?

Erin Ryan (1:42)

Yeah, we'll call it. Yeah, it's the new TV.

Loren Piretra (1:44)

So, I don't know if you've seen those buttons that a dog can press, speaking of, I'm going to reel her in, where they make commands, where it's like food, potty, treat. I got some for Willa and she smashed three of the four, and the only one she left was the I love you one. I was like, come on, you couldn't have given that one a little bit of a push. But there was a treat button, there was a food button, a potty town, and she had smashed them all. Really commanding.

Erin Ryan (2:10)

Oh, great. You have a talking dog basically.

All right. Well, we're going to talk more about regrettable orders from TV in a little bit, but let's get to the show. This week, we are talking about Trump's new press secretary's so-so job performance, to put it generously. Kimberly Guilfoyle's unceremonious resignation from her ambassadorship, Kacey Musgraves' beef with Kristi Noem, Kacey Boddider, and a few updates on the Cornell 7 case. Then we're joined by California Congresswoman, Sara Jacobs, to discuss reproductive health care and digital privacy. Then we'll wrap up with Sandy Petty. You're listening to Hysteria, the podcast for people who clocked that saying, I passed the bar exam in China, is the lawyer equivalent of saying, I've got a girlfriend. You don't know where she lives in Canada. All right. Of course, we're going to talk about Trump's new press secretary starting out today. Trump named a new press secretary over the weekend, Katie Zacharia. Zachariah. Do I have to know her name?

Loren Piretra (3:08)

No.

Erin Ryan (3:08)

How much longer is she going to be around?

Loren Piretra (3:10)

I don't know, but talk about the literacy crisis on full display with that woman.

SPEAKER_3 (3:14)

Yeah.

Erin Ryan (3:15)

She had her first press conference on Tuesday. And well, in case you haven't heard, let's take a look at how that went.

SPEAKER_3 (3:23)

To build eight large scale nuclear power plants, something we've needed as the United States and something President Trump promised on the campaign trail, and something President Trump is delivering on, just like he delivers on every promise. In addition to that, we will be, there is $54 billion tied to the Alaska LNG pipeline and terminal to service the Pacific Rim and sell fuel to our allies, as well as $22.3 billion for a six gigawatt natural gas power facility in Texas.

Erin Ryan (4:03)

Oh, do you feel a little bad for her?

Loren Piretra (4:06)

I mean, like my gut instinct is to feel bad for her, but then my reality is absolutely not. Because this woman is nuts. And I think what I'm really thinking about is Scott Jennings somewhere is saying like, so you're saying there's still a chance?
