Carl Quintanilla (1:08)

Good Thursday morning. Welcome to Squawk on the Street. I'm Carl Quintanilla with Jim Cramer at Post 9 of the New York Stock Exchange. David Faber has the morning off. A lot of moving pieces today between tech earnings, ADP, RFK Juniors hearing on the Hill today, jobless claims, highest since June. And bond yields offering some relief from high levels earlier in the week, 10 year 419 Our roadmap begins with top tech CEOs going to the White House tonight to meet with the president, including Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Altman. There is one notable absence though, which we'll tell you about. Meantime, the president asking the Supreme Court for a quick ruling on his efforts to overturn a lower court ruling that found his global trade tariffs illegal and a lot of big earnings movers. Salesforce slumping on some weak guidance, Figma plunging after its first report since going public. Let's begin with the president and Big Tech. Tonight, he is set to host high profile tech and business leaders for an inaugural event in the White House's renovated Rose Garden. A White House official tells CNBC invitees include Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Sundar Pichai, Sam Altman, and Sergey Brin. Notably not on the list is Elon Musk. The meeting is expected to be held over dinner after a separate White House event on AI, hosted by the First Lady. Interesting, Jim. And, you know, I guess to some, maybe a little surprising given how involved Musk was at the White House earlier in the year.

Also, you know, when you talk about autonomous driving, when we talk about a supercomputer, when we speak about anything involving the state of where we are as a nation and business, he tends to be someone that people want to know what he's thinking. But these other people, these are the people that are the... It's the magnificent six now.

We've got the powerhouses who have all committed to doing more. I'd like to see if everyone's going to make commitments like the way that Tim Cook has, who's put up this 600 billion over four years. It's incredible. But I think this is kind of what the administration initially was telling me, which is that it won't be like Biden, who would never have these people. It's going to be the opposite. These are the people who know more, and we're going to have them in. Obviously, the president's talking about, the administration's talking about how they don't think that the lawsuit was too much of a victory for the government. Remember, this is the lawsuit for MEDA against Google, and they're not happy with it. But the only way you can say you're not happy with it, really, is appeal. But these people are not... I mean, I don't know, they're a sundial pitch on. Maybe he says to them, you know what? I'm not happy with the lawsuit. I'm not happy with the verdict. That's so unusual. It's so unusual to have a president say that to someone that kind of just beat the government. But you know what? I mean, maybe you can go back when President Theodore Roosevelt was interested in talking to the Rockefellers. But look, there's just so much precedent here. I don't think people really understand that in our job, it is incredible to have a president have access to these people instantly. And he's basically saying, hey, listen, they have to do what I want. I summon them and they have to come. Biden would never summon them. A lot of these people are just saying, geez, I wish Biden would talk to us. A lot of the oil guests would say, he'd rather die than talk to us. But this is a very different time. And I expect something consequential to come out of this. I just can't even figure out what it'll be.
