I didn't speak to her now, but she will not be there. I didn't like what I read.

Guilfoyle's dismissal announced today by new White House Press Secretary, Katie Zachariah, at her first briefing.

SPEAKER_2 (0:30)

We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign. She has been a wonderful asset to the team, and we wish her well.

SPEAKER_4 (0:37)

Guilfoyle had been under scrutiny over allegations she asked Trump donor Eric Dieters for $100,000 to pay off her American Express bill days before her 2025 confirmation hearing in exchange for access to senior administration officials. It's The Drew Mariani Show on Relevant Radio.

Drew Mariani (0:57)

That was NBC News reporting on Kimberly Guilfoyle's ousting from her post as the US ambassador to Greece. Good afternoon, I'm Drew Mariani. Good to be with you, man. We got a lot to talk about today. It's gonna be a fun show. I hope you can hang out with me. Bring you up to speak, just a few moments, we're gonna speak to a pulmonologist about the latest for the Holy Father. Also, mysterious tunnels found at the site they believe is the resting place of Noah's Ark. Is it It's? possible that Noah's Ark and some of this most recent archaeological exploration that's underway right now, they're taking samples, could actually be that great ship of the Old Testament. Ark researchers are making what they say is an unprecedented move to go on the hunt for this, and they believe they found the resting place. We'll talk to Dr. Bergsma about what they found and really about the Ark itself. I personally don't think we'll ever find it. That's my own take. I'll tell you why.

But who knows, maybe God will permit this. I mean, the old, archaeology is constantly, right? The soil, the earth is constantly revealing the secrets of the past, and we're finding stuff taking us back to King David and to many of some of the other stories of scripture that people sometimes question about it, and we see it in reality. Could we see the Ark? It was real, right, or was it? A lot of people say, well, Drew, come on, hold on. Two of everything got into that Ark, I don't believe it, right? We'll talk about that too. We'll get into it all. It's gonna be a great conversation. Also, a little bit later, Catholic marriage is declining, but devout couples are thriving. And I wanna talk about this. Pope Leo opened the status check on Pope Francis' contentious opening to civilly remarried Catholics. And we'll take a look at that and much more. Should you attend a non-Catholic wedding, whether it is gay or somebody cohabitating or some other faith? Monsignor Pope will stop by. As I said, we've got a lot to get into today, so that resonates in your world. Stay tuned. If you missed anything, download the podcast. Nick puts it up, always about 30 minutes, 40 minutes after we sign off. Let's talk about Guilfoyle, though, right? The US. Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, she's resigned her post after coming under accusations of corruption, and what a mess, right? What a mess.

She was a huge supporter of Donald Trump, former Fox host, too. I just remember her speech, I think it was the Republican Convention, it was so over the top for a professional broadcaster, I'm thinking, oh, this is so uncomfortable to watch. Of course, she ended up dating one of Trump's sons, and got engaged to him, actually was engaged to him. By the way, Guilfoyle, I don't know if you know this, Nick was mentioning this to me yesterday, too, just a side note, a little note.

She was actually engaged to, guess what, Governor, married, no, no, no, no, married, I should say, married to Gavin Newsom. Yeah, it's crazy, it's a small world, small, small world. She's accused, though, now of favoring and promoting one particular Greek company, and was also accused of asking donors for major money, like 100 grand, so she could pay off her personal American Express. So the noise surrounding all those allegations, which has come from conservatives as well, as well as liberals, it's not just liberals that are doing this, became too much, the White House asked her to resign, and she did so, claimed she's going to fight the corruption charges. So it's the beauty of our country, right? You are innocent until proven guilty, and take her at her word, I guess. In the meantime, the president has his own controversies to deal with. After reaching a deal with Russia for production of more diesel fuel, and saying that the Ukrainian leader Zelensky needs to be replaced, and again, it's just so weird, right? I mean, I could go off on this. I don't want to go too deep into the story, but why would President Trump, of all the places that get diesel, want to give hundreds of millions of dollars to Russia? Right? Why?
