Hello, and welcome to the PC Perspective Podcast. We're at episode 884 This is Being Recorded on September 9, 2026 I'm Sebastian Peak.

Josh Walroth (0:18)

Brad Van Spurenberg (0:20)
I'm Brad Van Spurenberg.
Kent Burgess (0:23)
And I'm Kent Burgess.
Sebastian Peak (0:24)
And I had to double check, but this is in fact Being Recorded. So, live viewers, rejoice.
You will be able to watch this again later in its edited form at, you know, youtube.com.
Kent Burgess (0:38)
We had a perfect intro.
Sebastian Peak (0:41)
Yeah, it was flawless. Josh didn't even complain this time.
Kent Burgess (0:44)
No.
Sebastian Peak (0:46)
Just nice.
Josh Walroth (0:46)
Remember when you used to record things to that external, you know, for SSD raid thing? Because nothing else was fast enough if you really wanted to do frame pacing with FCAT.
Sebastian Peak (0:59)
That's... I think you're talking about a different editor-in-chief, but yes, I remember those days.
Josh Walroth (1:04)
Yes.
Sebastian Peak (1:05)
Yes.
Josh Walroth (1:06)
I thought you took it all.
Sebastian Peak (1:08)
No, he did not give me the FCAT stuff, but that's all in software now because NVIDIA switched that over. Anyway, it's... We'll talk shop another stream.
Let's get to the housekeeping. And patreon.com is a website that lets the audience of a YouTube creator be annoyed for about 60 seconds while they talk about patrons and stuff. But that's not fair. It's not fair to our patrons who actually make the show possible.
Brad Van Spurenberg (1:38)
It's true.
Sebastian Peak (1:39)
I apologize.
Brad Van Spurenberg (1:39)
You got to be fair to them. And we're going to single out a few of them here today. Not many of them, just a few. Just a few. So I thought I would start with Phil D.
Just because I kind of just was drawn to Phil D's name. And Nicholas R., kind of like that name, just the way it sat there on the screen. So I just thought I'd call out Nicholas R. And then a really unusual one, Jill and Steve R as a duo.
And I kind of liked that couple there. So I thought I'd mention them and give them a hearty thanks. And Meisterberg.
Meisterberg. Man, it just sounds like somebody in charge of a town. And finally, the one and only IG. IG. IG. This like an indispensable gold, you know.
Josh Walroth (2:26)
Immunoglobin.
Brad Van Spurenberg (2:28)
Yeah.
Jeremy Hellstrom (2:29)
Definitely not a droid. That would be IG88.
Sebastian Peak (2:36)
Does anybody else think that Brett's delivery during at least the first part of that Patreon segment was very Norm McDonald-like? Or is it just me?
Brad Van Spurenberg (2:44)
Is it a little bit more Norm McDonald?
Sebastian Peak (2:47)
I don't know. I don't know. It's just...
Brad Van Spurenberg (2:51)
It's sometimes, sometimes it just kind of just... It just comes right out.
Josh Walroth (2:55)
I don't even know. Okay.
Jeremy Hellstrom (2:57)
Whoa.
Sebastian Peak (2:57)
Okay. Never mind.
Jeremy Hellstrom (2:58)
Yeah.
Sebastian Peak (2:59)
Speaking of things that come right out later, Josh, when we talk about lunch... When we're at the other... Yeah.
Brad Van Spurenberg (3:05)
Let's talk about lunch.
Josh Walroth (3:06)
Let's talk about lunch. So, you know, we have a whole new menu to explore. And I took a snapshot of that menu and they're all tots. So, how can it go wrong? But the gal up front, Zoe, she said, you've... I've been digging these ninja tots. I'm like, ninja tots? Why would they be ninja tots? Well, they sneak up on you. That's what they do. Ninja tots. And let me quote, smoked pork and they gave you quite a bit in there. The Kujo sauce, which is their hot kind of teriyaki, sesame seeds, chopped chives, shishito peppers and chipotle mayo. And let me tell you, the Kujo sauce, it's got a bite.
No pun intended. Or maybe it was. You decide. But yeah, there were a lot of tots, there was a lot of smoked pork, there was some veggies in there, and it may not look entirely appetizing, but let me tell you.
It was plenty warm.
Really good balance of acid, and kind of basic, and creaminess in there. And it just... Chives and everything really kind of helped cut through that fat as well, so it was very filling.
And good lunch. Probably not the healthiest, but hey, look at me.
Paragon of...
Jeremy Hellstrom (4:53)
Duo Life.
Sebastian Peak (4:55)
For those of you just listening to the podcast, Josh just showcased his extremely healthy body on the YouTube live stream.
