Hello, and welcome to the PC Perspective Podcast. We're at episode 877
This is July 22, 2026, as we record this, as we speak these words. I'm Sebastian Peek.

**Jeremy Hellstrom** (0:17)
And I am Jeremy Hellstrom.

**Josh Walroth** (0:19)
I'm Josh Walroth.

**Brett Van Spermberg** (0:22)
You know, after doing something 877 times, you'd think we'd all be better at it. I'm Brett Van Spermberg.

**Kent Burgess** (0:29)
And I'm Kent Burgess.

**Sebastian Peek** (0:31)
I'm sorry, Brett, do you not know what mastery looks like? Or sounds like? This is podcasting perfection right here.

**Brett Van Spermberg** (0:42)
I couldn't get my Goblin Box Mixboard to work again this evening. I was this close, but the volume was too low on the mic.
Yeah, I'll fix it, though.

**Sebastian Peek** (0:52)
Okay.

**Jeremy Hellstrom** (0:54)
We're holding our breaths.

**Sebastian Peek** (0:57)
I suggest that he hook it up to a really cheap Bluetooth speaker and then just play it live into his microphone, which would make it even better.

**Brett Van Spermberg** (1:04)
Yeah, more lo-fi than it already is.

**Sebastian Peek** (1:08)
Yeah, some housekeeping first. As usual, we have to thank our patrons who make this show possible.
And operators, virtual operators are standing by right now to take your pledge. And if you pledge enough, you'll probably get something out of it, like Satisfaction and the PC Perspective Podcast for another week.

**Brett Van Spermberg** (1:26)
Deep sense, deep sense of well-being comes with that also.

**Sebastian Peek** (1:30)
Yeah, there's a warmth that we can't put a price on it. In fact, we won't put a price on it.

**Brett Van Spermberg** (1:36)
No, we dare not.
Last week, I threw out a sort of a cornucopia, as it were, of names. This week, I did not mine any. So it's more of a general, I don't want to say plea, but more of a general, hey, we offer this PC perspective Patreon for you to express your gratitude for us being here in dollars and probably cents, if this makes any sense.

**Jeremy Hellstrom** (2:04)
So you can put a price on us.

**Brett Van Spermberg** (2:07)
Well, I mean, a few dollars. I think that's probably about it.
But thank you. I do appreciate it very much so. Like we all do in our own special way, especially Josh.

**Josh Walroth** (2:20)
No.

**Sebastian Peek** (2:21)
Speaking of Josh, can you tell us about your, your activities as a gourmand?

**Brett Van Spermberg** (2:27)
Hmm.

**Josh Walroth** (2:28)
Armand Gourmand? No, not him.

**Sebastian Peek** (2:31)
Gourmet Gourmand?

**Jeremy Hellstrom** (2:34)
Yes. No.

**Josh Walroth** (2:37)
So, you know, I told you a while back that I wouldn't do many more burger reviews unless they were special. So there was a special, and this one is called the Italian Stallion. This has absolutely nothing to do with Sylvester Stallone. No, this is a seven ounce beef patty topped with pepperoni, homemade marinara and a really nicely fried American cheese.
I think it was originally supposed to be mozzarella, but maybe they ran out, but it's all American right now. And at first I thought, you know what, this may not taste good. I don't know if I'm in the mood for kind of a pizza burger. But it turned out really quite lovely. You know, I guess the secret is in the homemade marinara. It was an excellent marinara. It was, you know, it got some good flavor to it. It wasn't just, you know, tomato paste on top of a burger. Now they spread the herbs on top and you had the cheese and it was a big, pretty thick layer of pepperoni on top of it all. And I'll just, you know, it just worked. And it was surprisingly tasty. And sometimes I'm not in the mood for, you know, a pepperoni pizza, but in this case, it was a pepperoni burger and it was great. So drop on by.
Have an Italian stallion in your mouth.

**Brett Van Spermberg** (4:07)
I wish I could push one of the sound buttons right now.

**Sebastian Peek** (4:10)
Yeah, that we were waiting for the sound and it never came. Yeah.

**Brett Van Spermberg** (4:13)
So, you know, I agree. I agree. Just imagine, insert that in post, if you will.

**Kent Burgess** (4:18)
Wonder if they came up with that burger to play into the release of the movie, I Play Rocky.

**Josh Walroth** (4:28)
I Play Rocky?

**Kent Burgess** (4:29)
Yeah.

**Josh Walroth** (4:30)
Did you watch the trailer for that one?

**Kent Burgess** (4:32)
I did. It looks pretty cool.

**Josh Walroth** (4:35)
By the end, I was getting pumped like I was, you know, watching Rocky for the first time. I mean, you're old enough to probably saw it in the theaters, right?
