Welcome back to the Podcast That Rocks weekly podcast that talks about news in the world of rock metal alternative and everything in between. My name is Luke.

**Alex** (0:39)
My name is Alex.

**Luke** (0:40)
And I finally have calmed down from sweating and sunburn at Stank Warped Tour. Yes, there was a stank, both in heat and stench.

**Alex** (0:53)
Did you give out a lot of rocked deodorant?

**Luke** (0:56)
If I, if they would have let me haul it in, I would have been a hero, a hero.
But yeah, it was a walk too. If you're not familiar with the area for Warped Tour DC, like you have to park your car. It's a decent little walk no matter where you park. So hauling all that stuff in and not being an employee, like that would have been brutal.

**Alex** (1:17)
Yeah.

**Luke** (1:17)
And then the walk back is uphill. So it would have been like, uh.

**Alex** (1:22)
Walk to and from Warped Tour in my day was uphill both ways.

**Luke** (1:26)
Yeah. A lot of problems back in the Warped Tour of Old that we won't go into though. So thank you all so much. We'll have a better look at Warped Tour discussion going on later. When we talk about certain things. Thank you so much. If we get 50 likes, we'll play one round of Festival Rocker Flop where we all look at what we can make in random band festivals. We already have two Super Chats. If you're getting two of those at least, hit the like button. I've updated the folder again, a couple of good ones and one not good one, not bad one. It's a unique one.
Let's say that.

**Alex** (1:59)
I don't believe you.

**Luke** (2:02)
If we're lucky enough to land on it, we probably won't. I'm just saying you'll see what I mean. It's like, oh, I get it. That's not good or bad. That's just something. Okay.
That being said, I would like to also announce two little things. One, we will have a special guest coming in later this podcast. Very happy about that for a specific topic. And finally, I would like to say one congratulations to Alex Gray on her first weekend of a new station.

**Alex** (2:30)
Why, thank you so much, Luke.

**Luke** (2:32)
No, it's not the Stanked Tour Warped Odors. Okay, that's a little funny. Warped Odor Tour actually is kind of funny. Okay, Alex, would you like to tell everyone about your new gig working on the airwaves? I could say it that way.

**Alex** (2:47)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I am super stoked.
I did my first shift, as Luke said, on 98 KUPD in Phoenix last Saturday. And I am super excited to be joining KUPD on air again this coming Saturday. So if you are in the Phoenix area or if you have the Internet, I invite you to come join me this Saturday night from 6 to midnight, Arizona time on 98 KUPD. Super excited. It's super fun.

**Luke** (3:14)
That's literally everyone listening because if you can hear this on this podcast, that means you have the Internet.
Yeah. So everyone give a big fatty congrats to Alex. Good things are worth applauding. Thank you all so much. Hope you're all doing well. We have a lot of news to go through. We have a lot of not all great things to go through. Is there anything else I can say? Actually, I do want to talk about one thing. I don't have the image pulled up. I sent this to Alex when it happened because it happened during this past week and while I was busy. RIP, 32 years old, Oliver Tree.
That's another helicopter crash too. It's like, ugh, ugh.

**Alex** (3:57)
So sad and so young.

**Luke** (4:00)
I used the word unique earlier just like we're talking about something. Oliver Tree was a unique artist doing something different. So that's terrible.
Thank you guys so much. I'm using data right now because my trash company knocked out my internet, getting fixed amount. You know what? Data, that's fine too. If you have data or internet, you can still log in and listen.

**Alex** (4:20)
Mean. Yeah.

**Luke** (4:22)
So.

**Alex** (4:23)
Technically, yeah. Thank you.
