The heaviest metal credit card of all time. Rumored to be one of only 18 in existence. Plated with the very same tungsten that forged the International Space Station. And wielded at business dinners like a samurai sword.

It's a classic corporate power move. But the real power move? Having end-to-end visibility on your most critical shipments. FedEx, the new power move.

Market insight and analysis. You're listening to the opening bell of CNBC's Squawk on the Street. Good Monday morning.

Carl Quintanilla (1:06)

Welcome to Squawk on the Street. I'm Carl Quintanilla with Jim Cramer here at Post 9 of the New York Stock Exchange. We're gonna talk to Faber in a moment on Warner Bros. discovery. In the meantime, future is steady here to kick off a holiday shortened week. Plenty of news on Warner and Paramount, Nvidia, Honeywell, got some FedSpeak to chew on, 10 year 416 and oil's up to 58

A roadmap begins with markets going into the home stretch here. We'll talk about it, a Santa Claus rally really is in play. Paramount, of course, Skydance amending its offer for Warner Bros. discovery with Larry Ellison providing a $40 billion personal guarantee. And Nvidia's higher in early trade company now reportedly aiming to begin shipping those H200s to China by mid February. Let's begin the trading week though on a positive note. M&A continues to be a catalyst for this market and on that front, Jim, you've got some news.

Jim Cramer (1:56)

Yeah, it looks like that Nelson Peltz and the group are buying Janus. Now, this is a, it's 47, it doesn't look like a premium, but you go back to October when people first talking about it, you got a nice premium. What matters here is this is a democratization play, but people don't want to be, from what I tell people, don't want to be public anymore. They want to make dramatic changes to be able to, get individuals to be able to be in lots of things that they're not allowed in, but you will not know it right now if you are in Janus. Janus has had a whole bunch of quarters of being up. I remember all the quarters that they weren't being up. So this is a very significant move from the point of view of, I think it's a trend. I think this is the first, I think people don't want to be public. I think they can't make the moves they want to make. I think that they're going to have to change, a lot of companies have to change the way they do business if they are going to advance. And I think that that's what Janus has to do. Nelson will be in there helping. Janus people are going to be continuing to run the company. I bring it out just because this is the kind of deal I expect to see more and more of. It's one where you just say, you know, being public, you can't get the job done because you're going to miss too many quarters.

Carl Quintanilla (3:05)

If it does require a lot of explanation and education and patience with public investors, Jim, so you're looking for a wave of take privates in 26?

Jim Cramer (3:15)

Yes, I am. Look, I think this administration is trying to get whoever wants. All systems go because we're going to talk about the Netflix deal. But when I look at this, I just say, you can't really get AI in there and try to change the whole makeup of a company publicly because you'll miss quarter after quarter after quarter. Janus doesn't miss quarters. So I think it's a great move. I think that Nelson wouldn't come in. He's owned a stake for a long time. The Janus people continue to run it. I just want people to keep in mind that it doesn't change what's going on at Janus. It does say that they're going to go toward democratization, be able to be in everything. That's something that I've cared passionately about. Whether you like these deals or not, whether you're private equity or not, you have the right to be in them. And the individual hasn't had a chance to be in them. This is going to be something that's going to extend the reach. Congratulations to the guys. I mean, it's a good deal.
