Should Lindsay Clancy be convicted of murder or does postpartum psychosis create enough reasonable doubt to change how the law should treat her?

Pearl Davis (0:00)
You should be able to and just blame it on postpartum depression.
Pearl Davis (0:04)
Postpartum psychosis is an illness that only affects women. Are you trying to say that this illness should not be admissible in court just because it doesn't affect men?
Pearl Davis (0:13)
Women are aborting an eighth of the world population. Women are, based on their actions, their kids, both in the womb, and now women are fighting to kill their kids outside of the womb.
Brian Shapiro (0:22)
You're making a gross generalization about all moms.
Pearl Davis (0:25)
I believe that women are terrible mothers and they hate their children. Women say it and they say it publicly.
Kimberly Welch (0:30)
Out of everybody in this room, you are actually the exception to the rule because you don't have children. Do you want to be a mom? Yes or no?
Pearl Davis (0:36)
Yeah.
Kimberly Welch (0:36)
Okay, you want to be a mom. Okay, you're 29, right? When do you want to be a mom?
Vem Miller (0:40)
And obviously she doesn't want to debate.
All right, guys, we are here at the 10 vs. 1 debates with Pearl Davis, our host of today and our first guest is Brian Shapiro. So Pearl, if you don't mind reading the fourth prompt to that camera right there, so we can get going.
Pearl Davis (1:05)
Oh, the fourth prompt?
Vem Miller (1:06)
Yeah, I think that's what Brian is doing. Women are terrible mothers, yeah.
Brian Shapiro (1:09)
We could do a little Clancy stuff too if you want to.
Pearl Davis (1:11)
I thought we were starting with Clancy, okay.
Yeah, so I believe that women are terrible mothers and they hate their children. The first reason I'm going to say I believe this is out of women's mouths. Women say it and they say it publicly. I'm going to actually have a video that I brought of them saying it. Can we play it? Okay.
Vem Miller (1:26)
Yeah, sure. Which one?
Pearl Davis (1:27)
First one.
Vem Miller (1:29)
All right.
Pearl Davis (1:29)
No, no, sorry. First one under women are terrible mothers.
Vem Miller (1:33)
Here we go, this one right here.
Pearl Davis (1:33)
So I'm all about believing women. You know, I really think that we need to believe all women here. So obviously, if we are saying...
Brian Shapiro (1:40)
Are you playing a clip of all women or just a couple of women?
Pearl Davis (1:42)
A lot of women.
Brian Shapiro (1:43)
What's a lot? How many women live in this country?
Pearl Davis (1:46)
How many women live in the country?
Brian Shapiro (1:48)
What's the population of women that live in this country? And how many women are you sharing for us right now?
Pearl Davis (1:53)
Well, if you look at what videos go viral, it's all the ones of them talking about how they hate their...
Brian Shapiro (1:56)
I don't care what videos go viral. How many women live in this country? And how many women are you representing in this video?
Pearl Davis (2:03)
This is going to be one.
Brian Shapiro (2:04)
So you have one woman that you're playing me a video. I could play you a video of a man saying that I love to rape people. Does that mean all men rape people?
Pearl Davis (2:11)
Um, no, it doesn't.
Brian Shapiro (2:12)
Okay, so what's the point of playing, with respect, what's the point of playing one woman saying something really stupid?
Pearl Davis (2:18)
I really just got to believe her. I got to believe women here.
Brian Shapiro (2:21)
You got to believe...
Pearl Davis (2:21)
Yeah, so I'm going to play the video and then we can go back and forth.
Brian Shapiro (2:24)
But you understand my point. There's one woman that says something stupid, so now you think that represents all women?
Pearl Davis (2:30)
Well, it's not just that. I can go through my other points. The first reason is that women talk about they hate their kids all the time.
Brian Shapiro (2:35)
Well, one woman is talking about that.
Pearl Davis (2:37)
I have more than one here. So there's a general consensus that women are allowed to publicly talk about how they hate motherhood. 67,000 likes and if you go through the comments, women are openly saying they don't like being moms. And when you think about it, even inherently doing that, that's selfish. Their kids are going to see that someday. And we're publicly applauding it. And I mean, you can try to gaslight people and say, this isn't common, but it's very common. And by the way, there's a lot of videos like that. There's over 100,000 likes on both of those videos. And both of the comment sections are agreeing with them. And what commentators like you, I assume, do is you want people not to believe what they see with their eyes. And mothers do not take care of their children in this country. They constantly are making selfish decisions for the good of them and not the good of the kids.
