Are you struggling to hire diverse tech talent? After all, every organization in the world is now a tech company, and the ability to attract, hire and retain tech talent from all backgrounds is critical to their success. Enter Hackajob, a reverse marketplace that actively vets engineers. We flip the traditional model on its head, meaning companies apply to engineers versus candidates applying to jobs, with companies getting an 85% response rate to candidates they reach out to, as well as exposure to tech talent that directly meets their organization's diversity objectives.

James Ellis from the Talentcast. You may not be aware of this, but a couple years ago, I lost a bet, so now I'm contractually obligated to say nice things about Chad & Cheese.
Well, I took that, let's say, lemon and turned it into Lemonade. I took interviews from Chad & Cheese and turned it into a book, but I added a lot of other people you're gonna want to talk to. It's called Talent Chooses You. It is hiring better with employer branding, and it is available on Amazon June 15th. You should go and buy it. Bye.

What are we in? Week 12 now? Week 10 of lockdown? I'm losing count.
**Chad Sowash** (3:38)
It's been a while. It's a good thing. It's been kind of rainy, but it's supposed to be nice and sunny today. So we can actually get out and do some, do some work outside, geez.
**Joel Cheesman** (3:50)
Calendar's right. It's May 164
**Chad Sowash** (3:54)
Yes.
**Joel Cheesman** (3:54)
It feels that way. It feels that way. Yeah, I could use some outdoor time.
Winter seems to be lasting forever in the Midwest.
**Chad Sowash** (4:02)
Starting to get nicer. We'll be able to get out.
So get out there, people. Enjoy. Soak it up. I'll see you in a couple weeks.
**Joel Cheesman** (4:09)
Just wear a mask and stay six feet away from my ass.
**Chad Sowash** (4:13)
Yeah, just stay the fuck away from me.
**Joel Cheesman** (4:15)
We're obviously a little off today. This lockdown must be wearing on us.
**Chad Sowash** (4:20)
Ooh, it's definitely wearing. Like the Zoom fatigue, the lockdown fatigue, whatever the fuck you wanna call it, the three teenagers in a house with us fatigue, that's fucking fatigue.
**Joel Cheesman** (4:32)
I've been in much better spirits since the three-year-old's been in day camp for a week and a half. That's been a positive development in my world.
**Chad Sowash** (4:40)
Yes, good for you in day camp, that's for sure.
I did wanna comment. I think that the newest haircut is definitely the smartest Jeremy haircut.
**Joel Cheesman** (4:55)
It's a little context for the listeners. My three-year-old, my wife decided he needed a haircut.
I have a pair of clippers.
Little known fact about me, I cut hair in college for like $1 or $2 a cut. Anyway, everybody had the same cut, by the way. I didn't really transgress from what I knew. But anyway, the kid's hair was getting pretty long, and the idea was like, let's just shave it all off. That was the initial idea. Anyway, he freaked out. So the first iteration of the cut was we kinda got the sides pretty well.
