If you watch Dumb Money at all, you know that we've been extremely bullish on Nvidia stock. The last time we talked about it, we called Nvidia the only stock that we're buying right now. Going back two and a half months, we told you exactly why we're getting back into Nvidia. Unlimited demand for GPUs, how insider selling and China fears were totally misunderstood, and how sovereign AI is a trillion dollar tailwind that the market just isn't pricing in. Bottom line, this is the biggest revolution of our lifetime, Nvidia is the infrastructure layer, and once the market woke up, we knew that the stock would pop. And what do you know? We were right. Since that video, just 75 days ago, Nvidia's stock price is up 50%, but our trade is up way more than that. Today on Dumb Money, we're going to tell you exactly how we played it, how we're planning to do it again, and the new stock that we just bought.
Hey there, Dave here, along with Chris and Jordan. We are Dumb Money. Welcome to Dumb Money Live. Quick reminder, smash the like button, like the smash button, do the things. It really helps out with the algorithm. Chris, Jordan, it looks like history is continuing to repeat itself. This morning at Market Open, Nvidia's stock was down 2% because of, again, insider selling and China chip supply issues. But still, Nvidia, the biggest company in the world, $4 trillion. They're bigger than Meta and Google combined. And while I was loading up on more stock, Chris, I know that you were leveraging up on Nvidia call options, and everybody wants to know how you did. And I want to know if you even know their percentage gain in the last couple of months because I can't even imagine.

It's been so fun, man. This is what we do this for, is for times like this. I've always said you really only need one or maybe two big trades in your entire life to be a top 1% investor. And if you get lucky enough to hit maybe three or four big trades over the course of 20 or 30 years, you'll definitely be like a top 1 10th of 1% investor performance-wise over your lifetime. People don't believe me. And when Jack Schwager interviewed me for Unknown Market Wizard just a few years ago, I said, he asked me if I thought I could continue the kind of returns, those 70-ish percent annualized returns. And I said, I know for sure with every bone in my body that the largest trades are ahead of me.
And when I say ahead of me, I mean ahead of everyone. So I think that way still, even after this Nvidia trade, which is the biggest trade in my life, I think the largest trades are definitely ahead of us. Because as we've always said, as the three of us have been saying for, I don't know, eight years on this channel, seven years, the larger the change, the bigger the opportunity, the faster the change, the bigger opportunity. And we've never seen a larger change happening during our lifetime this quickly, anything remotely close to this quickly. Therefore, it's inevitable that the largest investment opportunities of our entire life are about to happen. I think certainly Nvidia was the first of those really, really big ones, right? So many people have asked me, how did you structure the trade? I wanna go over that really quickly. But also I wanna say this, social art, when I used to talk about it, observational investing, people used to knock on it and would say, well, that only works for small companies that are off radar to Wall Street, right? There's no way that you can see things that are really meaningful, that are needle moving, that haven't already been picked up by big institutional investors that have access to unlimited resources, unlimited data sources, and massive amounts of just people power.
And, you know, Jordan, when we worked, you know, at Tickr Tags, our company, and we sold that to many of the biggest funds in the world, we saw behind the curtain and realized how untrue that statement is. There's not a lot behind the curtain. And we knew that we could continue to do this not just with small companies, but with the biggest companies in the world. And I think the biggest edge that we could have as retail investors is the ability to eliminate noise. So all Wall Street is so focused on all the BS noise, the macroeconomic noise, the geopolitical noise. What is Powell going to do today? What is Trump doing today? Certainly, there are some ARB trades there. But that's not where the alpha is, because that's where everybody's looking. How on earth did they miss this Nvidia trade? Because Dave, this wasn't just like a broad base Nvidia trade. Oh, they're the infrastructure company. We were trading very specific pieces of information over the past nine, 10 weeks that we were like, this is essentially inevitable. It's so obvious that this is about to happen. And yet nobody's seeing it because they're so consumed by noise.
