From the studio that brought you WandaVision.

SPEAKER_2 (0:02)

I was an Avenger, but I'm not a hero anymore.

SPEAKER_1 (0:08)

This Wednesday, the Vision returns for the final chapter of the groundbreaking trilogy.

SPEAKER_2 (0:12)

That family wasn't real.

SPEAKER_1 (0:13)

You sure about that? I had a father called Vision. How is this possible? Don't miss the two-episode premiere of Marvel Television's Vision Quest.

Jed Mishu (0:22)

Nothing bonds a family together quite like mortal jeopardy.

Streaming Wednesday, only on Disney+.

Mike Heck (0:56)

All right, Mike Heck here from MMA Fighting and my good friend Jed Mishu is here with me as well because Jed, the day has finally arrived. It's App Day, the all-new SB Nation app. It's live now. It's live, Jed.

SPEAKER_1 (1:08)

It's alive.

Jed Mishu (1:10)

Yeah, man, I'm really excited and it's awesome, man. Combat Sports, like all sports, but Combat Sports fans especially, you guys are going to have your voices heard like never before within SB Nation. MMA Boxing, not me, but you, Pro Wrestling Mike, it is a community-based app. It's all about community with the new SB Nation app.

Mike Heck (1:30)

It's so easy to use and it can keep, obviously, Combat Sports fans connected to their favorite teams and all of sports too across the board. So I can keep up with the Red Sox, the Celtics, the Patriots, and the Bruins all on my phone, and it's so simple to use.

Jed Mishu (1:44)

Yeah, like you mentioned those teams, but there's so much more, because I don't care about Boston Sports, Mike, but I get to follow the NFL, all the other sport, F1, the various sports that I care about outside of Combat Sports.

And then there's the live experience, because to me, that's one of the coolest things. You can chat with us during Fight Cards every Saturday, and you can chat with other people in the communities as big events are happening. So it's a really good time.

Mike Heck (2:11)

So, ladies and gentlemen, come fight with us over on the all-new SB Nation app. Download it today. Download it right now. What are you waiting for? Download it.

Well, hello there everybody. And welcome to a brand new edition of On To The Next One. The Matchmaking Crowns are back following UFC Vegas 122, which went down on Saturday night at the world's most famous Meta Apex. And in the main event, Brendan Allen hangs on to his spot, stays in title contention for now with a fifth round submission win over Christian Leroy Duncan. Fight was a little bit closer than I thought it was gonna be. I think Brendan made some mistakes. Well, Muhammad did post he had some staph infection, yet it was missed and he was able to actually go in there and fight. I don't know how I feel about that, but either way, Brendan Allen goes out there and wins and boy, did he need it. And Christian Leroy Duncan showed me some things.

Unfortunately, he's just not going to fight for a belt or anything like that. That was kind of what was at stake here. Which guy will be able to sort of survive in advance, and which guy will sort of fall down the rungs of the ladder, so to speak. And Brendan Allen is the guy that remains in place. CLD has a lot of work to do. I mean, a lot of work to do if you want to get back into this discussion. But thanks for joining us. I am Mike Heck. Hope you're all having a great weekend. For a lot of us, it is a long weekend, a three day weekend. So if that's you, you get to enjoy it. And if it's not, hope you get to enjoy the show. Nonetheless, enjoy a pleasant Sunday. But let's get into the matchmaking. By the way, no AK this week. All good. Everything is fine. Alexander Kaley will be back next week following the UFC's return to Canada. More on that in a little bit. But let's get right into the matchmaking. Your suggestions come up later on in the program. And before we get into the matchmaking, just a reminder, make sure you download the all-new SB Nation app. It's a great app for a great website. Just a lot of interaction during these live events. The live event watching experience has changed forever thanks to the all-new SB Nation app. Download it for free. Hang out with us during Fight Nights. I think there was like 700 thread comments last night during that card, which was not an all-timer. That's for sure. Obviously not the worst watch we've ever seen, but not an all-timer. And you guys are with us the entire way and we appreciate you for that. And you can join the fun for UFC Edmonton. I think they're at Edmonton. Is that where this card is? Or is it Vancouver? It is Edmonton. All right, that was right. So enjoy UFC Edmonton with us by downloading the all-new SB Nation app. So let's get into the matchmaking.
