All right, guys, welcome to the show. Once again, my name is Mac, aka GoodPolitikGuy, and if you missed the last couple of days, I'm taking over the channel for Kyle while he is out on vacation this week. But he is gonna be back this Friday, and he's gonna have some classic backyard iPhone content for all of you. So with that being said, I have an absolutely massive amount that I wanna get to here today. We have an impending global economic crisis and energy crisis on our hands as Ukraine is continuing to strike Russian assets. The Black Sea is now on fire. We have the Houthis launching strikes against Saudi Arabian oil refineries as the Iranians are ramping up attacks in the Strait of Hormuz. We also had Donald Trump on the campaign trail for Republicans heading up to the midterms, where he was floating the idea of allowing Iran to bomb California. Absolutely insane shit. We had a new report from the CIA claiming that Israel may be descending into a civil war kind of scenario, heading into their elections later this month. At the same time that we have psychopathic Israeli ministers like Bezalel Smotrich, admitting their true plans are to annex Gaza and South Lebanon, exactly as we all predicted throughout the last three years of the genocide in Gaza. And then finally, if we can get to it, we had a full blown campaign collapse in a debate between Susan Collins and Troy Jackson for the main Senate election. So obviously, a lot of good stuff we're going to get to here. Remember off the top to a like, comment, subscribe, hit the notification bell, all that good stuff really helps to support both Kyle's channel and my channel as well. Now, with that being said, we're going to jump straight into it with some of the latest out of the Russia-Ukraine war. So this was apparently a Ukrainian naval drone attack on a ship in the Black Sea near Sochi. And you can see what looks to be like, I don't even know what to compare this to. I mean, it almost looks like a nuke went off in the background here. But I mean, maybe multiple football fields long, but a ship was hit. And then it looks like some of the oil may have spilled into the Black Sea and is now completely on fire. I mean, you can see it's engulfed in flames. There's a massive plume of smoke. Another angle that you can see it at here burning at the night time. And then you can see it in pictures as well. I mean, again, it looks like a fucking nuke went off in the distance here. Absolutely insane stuff. And the reason why this is important beyond just like the ecological and environmental catastrophe that this is for the world.

We also have this headline here. In the meantime, over the last number of months here, Ukraine claims that its strikes have taken out more than half of Russia's oil refining capacity. So obviously, beyond just the scope of the Ukraine-Russia war, this is going to have massive implications for the global economy. So a little bit on that here. They say Russia has historically been the world's third largest producer of refined fuel products from crude after the US and China. Some of Russia's 32 refineries have been hit as many as 15 times since the start of the war with Ukraine launching these waves of drone attacks and in some cases missile attacks against these refineries.

One refinery has been hit every three days in recent months. They say Ukrainian strikes have also increasingly targeted more complex equipment that removes impurities from fuel which takes months to repair. And the IEA says that diesel output has fallen 30% and at the same time the Kremlin has banned diesel exports pushing global prices higher and prompting Trump on September 13th to urge Ukraine to stop hitting the refineries because he is also dealing with his own choke point in the Strait of Hormuz as well as the ongoing Houthi offensive or counteroffensive against the Saudis where they are also hitting refineries in Saudi Arabia. So it's a multi-compounding problem that we are looking at here. In Saudi Arabia, I mean this is just one video that I saw floating across my timeline, Ansarullah launches a missile attack on a Saudi Aramco refinery in Rabik in Saudi Arabia. So I mean, look at this again, just explosions happening everywhere around the world. I didn't even include it in this video, but we also just had randomly, inexplicably, a refinery that blew up. One of the most critical refineries blew up in Venezuela. So we have this chaos in Russia, Ukrainians striking their refinery capacity. We have the Houthis attacking the Saudi refinery capacity. And we also have random refineries around the world that are just blowing up. So this is catastrophic, because keep in mind, diesel is an inelastic market, right? If you have a little bit less, you know, gasoline that's on the global markets, well, maybe some people are going to take the bus to work, or they're going to ride their bike or whatever else. There are some ways that you could, you know, reduce the demand side of that. That's just not the case when it comes to things like diesel, right? A farmer or, you know, a grocery store or a truck driver can't just say, I'm not going to deliver, you know, groceries to this grocery store anymore, because we can't afford the diesel prices. A farmer in Nebraska can't just say, well, I'm just not going to harvest the crops, right? To operate this heavy machinery. This is stuff that is going to ripple throughout the entirety of every single product that we consume around the world. Every aspect of the economy is being hit by this, and it's only getting worse. I mean, hear from Brett Erickson.
