All right, guys, welcome to the show. Once again, my name is Mac, aka GoodPolitikGuy, and I am hijacking Kyle's channel for the week while he is out on vacation. Now, we have a lot of important stuff that we're going to get to here today. We have the Saudi-backed counter-offensive in Yemen that has utterly collapsed in less than 24 hours. The Houthis making major territorial gains. Once again, we had Abdul El-Sayed running circles around a Fox News host, so that was kind of amazing. We had Zoran Mondani teaching socialism to Theo Vonn, and we also had Mehdi Hassan humiliating an IDF spokesperson on Piers Morgan. Then hopefully, if we can get to it, we got to talk about this Russian plague story because it is simultaneously terrifying and also just kind of amazing that this is where we're at as a global society. The plague is apparently back upon us, so a lot of amazing stuff we're going to talk about today. Obviously, off the top, remember to like, comment, subscribe, hit the notification bell on both Kyle and my channel. You should be able to see it right down below next to Kyle's channel on YouTube.

I'm trying to work my way up to 150k, so if we could get anywhere close to that, that would be greatly appreciated. Now, we're going to jump right into it starting off with the latest in Yemen, where it's pointed out here by DropSite News, the Saudi-backed offensive in Yemen has run aground.

What is going on here? Well, if you remember, a couple of weeks ago, the Houthis made significant territorial gains in southwest Yemen closer to the Bab el Mendeb Street, which is this critical waterway, almost as critical as the Strait of Hormuz in terms of global shipping and in terms of the Saudi ability to export oil to global markets. And since they made those territorial gains, the Saudis absolutely freaked out and they had their coalition-backed forces that were also backed up by Saudi aircraft, a hundred of them or so that were participating in this, and they launched a counteroffensive, which it looked like yesterday was pretty successful in quickly taking some of the Houthi-controlled territory, but it seems like now the Houthis have taken almost everything back. So again, here from DropSite News, they say, yesterday, the Saudi-backed Presidential Leadership Council, or the PLC, in coordination with Saudi Arabia, launched a counteroffensive called Dawn of Yemen. The first major operation of the counteroffensive was a charge by the Southern Giants Brigades about 20 kilometers down the narrow Bab al-Mandeb coastal plane, as a hundred Royal Saudi Air Force jets bombed hundreds of targets across Yemen. And as of right now, the US is not directly involved in this. Obviously, we saw Joe Biden try to fight the Houthis. That didn't go well. We saw Trump in a second term try to fight the Houthis. That didn't go well. We are providing them with intelligence and logistical support, obviously, but not directly involved in it as of right now. But they say, as of today, the Giants Brigades have been stopped somewhere near the Dubab airport and have been sustaining heavy missile and drone fire from the adjacent mountains, which are still under Houthi control.

And since the counteroffensive began yesterday, Ansarullah has published two videos, I'll show you one of these here in a minute, showing large-scale ballistic missile operations targeting Giants Brigades reinforcements along the narrow strip of the southern Yemeni coast in Ras al-Ara. And currently or concurrently, with the launch of Operation Dawn of Yemen yesterday, Ansarullah completed the encirclement of PLC forces in Taiz city, which is one of the largest cities in Yemen, and would be absolutely critical if they're able to actually fully capture that. And they're now attempting to claim the remaining mountains that surround it. And you can see on this map here, the territory in green that it seems like these have been able to recapture from the Saudi-backed coalition forces. Obviously, this part down here to the southwest is the most critical part, right near the Bab al-Mendeb Strait. Again, this is like 10 to 12% of global trade goes through here. And critically, it's also with the Saudi Arabian East-West pipeline. It is basically their only lifeline to get oil out into global markets to Asia, for example, which is one of their biggest consumers of Middle Eastern oil. It's like their only other lifeline other than the Suez Canal in order to get oil out into global markets. And so if the Houthis are in control of this critical waterway and they want to deploy a blockade of Saudi ships, which is exactly what they're trying to do right now, then this gives them a firm position to do that, which effectively screws the Saudis. So this is obviously an ongoing battle, but it seems like the Saudi counteroffensive is not going well. So a little bit more here from DropSite News, they say, researcher Bonser Berry noted this morning that the coastal strip is flat, open desert, with heavy air cover, light armored vehicles can advance quickly along it, but the ground is hard to hold. Mountains just inland in the Al-Waziyah highlands overlook the plain, and unless government forces push up into those mountains, Ansarullah, whose strength has always been mountain warfare, can come down swiftly and push them back out. And again, you can kind of see it on the map here, like this western portion along the coast of Yemen. It's very flat. It's like open desert plains that we're talking about here. And then slightly to the east, you have these mountains. If the Houthis are still in control of these mountains, yeah, with a lot of bombs from some airplanes, you can take a lot of this territory from the Houthis. But if they still hold the mountains, they can just sort of bombard you and pretty easily take this back, which it seems like is exactly what ended up happening. Now, I told you guys yesterday that we had this urgent warning from the Houthis to all airlines operating in Saudi Arabia's airspace, declaring it unsafe. And now it seems like we know exactly why that was issued as a warning. So here from Brett Erickson, he says, Ansarullah or the Houthis have struck multiple Saudi airports in the last 24 hours, including the Jizan Airport, the Abha Airport, the Najran Airport, and the Riyadh Airport, which is likely, and it seems like at this point it has been confirmed. But he says here that Jizan and Najran have been confirmed explicitly by the Saudi Civil Defense, and Abha has been stated as struck by Ansarullah's spokesperson.
