Jim Cramer (1:01)
It's Jim Cramer here. You're listening to the opening bell of CNBC Squawk on the Street. Don't miss a minute of the action. These people love you. Okay. This is not a Wall Street analyst meeting. These are people whose lives you have changed.
Jensen Huang (1:17)
These are people you have changed.
Jim Cramer (1:19)
No, I haven't done anything. Jim Cramer. I haven't done anything. No. Well, if we're going to do that, then we're going to give credit to my dog, Nvidia. All right. There you go.
Carl Quintanilla (1:31)
A special event. Jim hosting Nvidia's Jensen Huang yesterday at the CNBC Investing Club monthly meeting. Nice stuff, Jim. Good Wednesday morning. Welcome to Squawk on the Street. I'm Carl Quintanilla with Jim Cramer at Post 9 of the New York Stock Exchange. David Faber has the morning off. The future is pretty solid after that 7-day wind streak was broken on Tuesday. Ten-year yield back to 4-1 as this government shutdown enters day 8 and more discussion of the short-term economic impact. Our roadmap begins with Nvidia though in the AI arms race. Jensen Huang speaking with Jim last night and moments ago on Squawk. All about the deal making that's going on right now, including Oracle and Intel. Gold continuing its record rally, topping 4K for the first time ever.
And we're tracking Tesla today after the stock did drop following its latest EV unveil. Let's begin with Nvidia, the AI trade, and Jensen Huang's message to investors. Jim, you heard him this morning, talked a lot about sort of this evolution between being a tech industrial and creeping elements of a financial company too.
Jim Cramer (2:32)
Now, I thought that this morning was a great contrast. Last, yesterday, we had a club meeting, and we were talking. Jensen wanted to meet the people who became millionaires. Who did he make a millionaire with? The club made him with. He did. Today was all about, I think, a total affirmation of the way people are spending because of the industrial revolution, and how this is the fourth, and how you all wish, we all wish we invested even more over and over again. He talks about how it's not circular deals. It's, boy, I wish I got in. I wish you got in. And he mentions CoreWave. We have them on tonight. Mucklin Trader, terrific guy. I just felt that his one-two punch made me feel that you have to be involved in this as an investor. Now there is so much froth, and we're starting to see companies, I believe that, starting to see companies that are doing the secondaries. I've been waiting for that. They're validating the fact that their price is up, but we can't handle all the stock.
We just don't want all the stock being dumped on the market. But at the same time, we have legitimate companies that must be bought.
Carl Quintanilla (3:40)
In the meantime, that piece in the information yesterday on Oracle and their margins, you actually pushed this to get Jensen to address it last night. You want to take a listen to that?
Jim Cramer (3:50)
Yes.
Carl Quintanilla (3:50)
This is Jim's question and what Jensen said.
Jim Cramer (3:56)
Today there's an organization, a news organization, I put quotes around news, which says that Oracle lost nearly $100 million running out of Nvidia's chips. I know from the people I talk to that actually all these things are fungible and Oracle's cost is so low that it's entirely possible that that number won't matter. But when you read these things, they lost $100 million. Now I know that you said to me over and over again, if you buy something from you, you actually get an immediate great return. You demonstrated to me over and over again. When you hear something like this, what do you think?
