The Tennessee Titans have waved Miracle Will Levis, Lewis Levis posted 2,091 yard, 13 touchdowns, 12 interceptions back in 2024, the last time he took the field. The Tennessee Titans finished 3-13 that year, a record which landed him the top pick, which was Cam Ward. He missed the entire 2025 season after opting for surgery on his right shoulder before training camp landing him on injury reserve. Levis was the 33rd overall pick in the 2023 draft. The Titans landed the number 41st overall pick in the 72nd overall pick in the third round in 2023 and 2024 In the third round, picked to move up to selective.
Joe, I'm going to go to you, swing it to you first. Is this a situation where the NFL teams not having patience on a player? Did they give up too soon on Will Levis? Well, I mean, you got Cam Ward, Uncle Ochocinco. I mean, if that's your franchise quarterback, here, you ain't finna put too much stock and no backup, are you?
You know? I mean, so you're not surprised that considering how he played his rookie year, that it ended up getting him, and look, they felt that the quarterback was a position of need, even though they had traded all that draft capital to move up to take him at the first pick of the third, or the second round, excuse me.
No, it didn't work out. You look, you got Cam Ward who's come, you got to see what he can get. I mean, see what he can do. Give him another, give him a couple of years. But I just can't see him playing in Tennessee, playing behind Cam Ward. He's a young guy who's probably going to be very durable for the next couple of years. And man, if you Tennessee, bro, that's where all your eggs lay at. And Cam Ward, hopefully he can come through and be a franchise player. This man, you know, Will Levis said there ain't 32 quarterbacks better than him. He ain't lie. Did he really? It's 50
He ain't lie. He ain't say there ain't 32, it's 50 Hey, our question there for you and Ojo, y'all think he going to get an opportunity somewhere? Yeah. Oh, absolutely. Yeah.

**Chad Johnson** (2:01)
He getting picked up. Absolutely getting picked up. You know, a change of senior is always good. I'm not sure wherever the senior is that he does go.
He won't have the opportunity to be a starter, but he have opportunity to be a backup. He could be a damn good backup for a very long time in this NFL and make very good money doing so.

**Shannon Sharpe** (2:18)
Yeah. Because the situation, Ocho, Joe with the practice squad, somebody bring him in and put him on the practice squad. Say, hey, we developing, work on his mechanics, get him to make better decisions. The problem that I had is that he made the same mistake, Ocho, the same mistake week after week, Joe, late with the outlaw, not holding on to the football.
Coaches are going to look at you like, son, one or two things are happening. Either we're doing a terrible job of coaching you, or you're just having a terrible job of understanding what we're trying to coach. Yeah. Coaches don't really want to take the blame and say, but how can you make the same? I mean, it was like three, four weeks of the road, Ocho, we tried, came back, I was like, bro, you got last week, you got picked up, and the coach said, son, I told you last week not to do that. I'd be damned if you ain't did it again.

**Chad Johnson** (3:10)
But points are the premium in NFL, especially when you're young, especially when you have a team where you're really not that good. So you got to take care of that ball. When you don't take care of the ball, you don't have that type of offense, you don't have that type of defense that can save the day. And you put it behind the eight ball constantly. Yes, for sure. Constantly.

**Shannon Sharpe** (3:29)
And what's hard as a coach is if you got a player that continues to make the same mistake over and over, and, oh, hey, man, I don't even know how to help you no damn more. You know what I mean? You got your opportunities, we've talked about it, we've watched film, and you continue to make the same mistakes? Yeah, man, they gonna get tired of tapping you on your shoulder telling you, hey, look, son. You know what I mean? Yes.
It's either we're doing a horrible job of teaching or you're doing a horrible job of comprehending, or you just said, you just said, F it. He just nodded. Yes.
