Normally on the sideline, it's a player rallying the troops, talking to the guys and getting them ready to play. We saw something very unique. We saw Sean McVay huddle the team up.

What did he say? And how were you guys able to mount that comeback in the fourth quarter?

Kyren Williams (1:14)

Man, it wasn't really too much of anything. It was like him just getting back to us, being able to realize the moment that we're in.

And realizing like, what's at stake? We got to go win a ball game. And it's by any means that we got to do that. And so he was just telling us like, man, believe in yourselves, believe in everything that's around it. And just go out there and play. Like he just kept it real. You could tell by the emotion on his face that it was about the realest thing that he was going to say to us. And as men, as competitors, we had to accept that and go make it happen. So it wasn't really much of anything that was too crazy. It was just him just going like, man, y'all got to go do it. And we did it.

Were you surprised? Look, I think they're on the two yard line or something. They could kick a field kicker, take the points. All of a sudden, there's eight minutes left in the ball game and they go for it. You guys stop them. And from that point on, it seems like you guys seized the momentum. Were you shocked they didn't take the points at that point?

Yeah, I was shocked. But you know, I don't really control what's going on. That's the football guys looking out after us because I know if that was us in that situation, we're gonna try to probably kick that field goal. But man, like I said, man, I'm just glad, you know, defense bucked up. Defense bucked up all day for us. They kept the offense getting opportunities to get on that field. And you know, obviously this week we got to seize the opportunity better. But you know, if it wasn't for the defense, man, we wouldn't be talking like we're talking right now. So shout out to them guys and shout out to them boys for continuing to get those fourth down stops.

You guys, next Monday night, you got a big game coming up. They're all big because there are only so many of them. It's not like a basketball where you play 82 or baseball, you play 162 You only get 16 to 17 of these things in the regular season. This will be your fourth prime time game and fifth game. It's your two and two. I don't, you probably didn't expect to be two and two, but you are what your record says you are. Do you add any more importance to this ball game or is just another ball game for you guys?

Man, I try to keep every game the same, like you said, like every game will interfere with something. You know, you can't, there's not a weekend or a Sunday that you can let off the gas. You know, it's all importance, no matter if it's a prime time game, no matter if it's a 10 o'clock kickoff, no matter if it's a noon kickoff. Like, at the end of the day, you got to get the job done, you know, and so for me and for myself, and I know for my teammates, man, this is another opportunity to continue to keep being who we are and continue to keep going out there and trusting in the process and going out there and go and have fun. Cut it loose on Monday night. It's the best opportunity to go do it when everybody's watching. And like you said, this is a different schedule for us.
