Sticking to the AFC North, Quinshon Judkins says, new Browns head coach Todd Monken has been a refreshing surprise. Ochocinco, let's take a listen to what he has to say.
**Quinshon Judkins** (0:10)
What have you heard from your new head coach Todd Monken yet? Bro, I have. And, bro, honestly, it's not what I thought it would have been. Like, what did you think it was gonna be? I thought it was gonna be like more so like. Because my past coach, bro, he was like really even kill, bro, like super quiet. I thought I was going to get that from Coach Monken, but it wasn't that like he was like a real players coach, bro, like, you know, like, give me a hug, like all that, bro. So he was just super communicative of what he wanted from the team, what his goal is, what his objective is, what he want to come in and do. And, you know, he knows exactly what he wants and he has a vision. And I think that's what's important as a head coach and especially being vocal about it, too. I think that's what matters.
**Claressa Shields** (0:57)
I respect the CR.
**Chad Johnson** (1:01)
I like that. Yeah.
**Shannon Sharpe** (1:02)
Could this be perceived as a shot at Stefanski?
**Chad Johnson** (1:06)
I wouldn't say it's a shot at Stefanski. Everyone has their coaching styles. Everyone has their approach and how they talk to players.
Todd Monken probably is a players coach. Maybe he has a different energy about himself. Stefanski carries himself in a much different way than Monken does. Therefore, you will get different reactions when you have a coach that's somewhat mild-mannered, someone that's even keel, as he said, someone who's not very, very jubilant about their coaching style. Maybe Todd Monken is just different. For him, it's refreshing because it's something that he's not used to, being that he's just getting into the NFL, and that's all he's known so far during his short NFL career, is what he saw from the fanskin. Now you get Todd Monken, who's completely different, different approach, a different way of doing things. So to him, that is refreshing.

Yeah, they're going to do all the right things till they get your ass in there, and then watch how they behave. It's just like when you go to college, oh, you're great, oh, your son is unbelievable. Yeah. We're so glad to have him.
**Chad Johnson** (2:11)
Oh, you know, they say your dream-
**Shannon Sharpe** (2:12)
Johnson, get your ass over here! Hello, you just told my grandma you were glad to have me over here. You told me to get my ass over here, get in line and run and all this.
**Chad Johnson** (2:29)
Hey, listen, hey, coaches, when they first get to a team, boy, they like politicians, boy.
**Shannon Sharpe** (2:34)
Oh, yeah.
**Chad Johnson** (2:35)
Hey, they like politicians. When college coaches come to visit you at your house, boy, politicians, boy, you get there, but they act like they don't even know you. Once they get you in the building, they good. Everything changed.
**Shannon Sharpe** (2:47)
Ochocinco, like you said, as a politician, they lie to everybody.
**Chad Johnson** (2:50)
Yeah.
**Shannon Sharpe** (2:51)
So they get whatever story they done told you, they done told a hundred other guys that same lie.
**Chad Johnson** (2:57)
It's a nice script, too, nice script. They just changed the name.
**Shannon Sharpe** (3:02)
Yeah, and plus, yeah, it's going to be easy kill until y'all don't win no games and then watch how much hell he raise.
**Chad Johnson** (3:08)
Oh, yeah.
**Shannon Sharpe** (3:09)
Because right now, you're undefeated. You're undefeated right now. Yeah, everybody's saying the right thing. Everybody's excited and I get all of that. But guess what? They're gonna pump them footballs up and they're gonna kick them off in September.
**Chad Johnson** (3:25)
Oh, yeah. You're gonna have to play.
**Shannon Sharpe** (3:27)
You're gonna have to play. The Eagles and defensive tackle Jordan Davis has reached an agreement on a three-year, $78 million extension, tying him to the Eagles for the next four seasons. The deal includes $65 million guaranteed and makes Davis the highest paid no tackle in the NFL. The number 13 pick in 2022, Davis was entering his fifth year option season worth nearly $13 million. I've been very impressed with this young man. Yeah. He was phenomenal at his combine day. He was a phenomenal player at UGA, but to see what he's done to his body, the way he's taken it seriously, the way he's gotten himself in shape, and the way he plays hard. Because at first, Ochocinco, they just played him on. He's just a two down player. Yeah. He's just a two down player. Now, he's turned himself in. He's gotten his body right and he's turned himself into a hell of a football player. He should have went to the damn Pro Bowl. Yeah. I forget who they took over him, but he should have went to the damn Pro Bowl, because he had a hell of a season. To be told, he outplayed his teammate. Yeah. He was better than Carter this year, don't you?
