Back to Ohio State, defeated number 14, Iowa, 31-14. Jeremiah Smith now has touchdowns. He finished the game today, back to back. This is the second week in a row, he's gone over 200 11 catches, 206 yards, two touchdowns. He's three touchdowns away from Ty and Braylon Edwards for the most receiving touchdowns in Big Ten history.

Jeremiah Smith, biggest competition for the Heisman, may be his quarterback Julian Sayen. 20 catches, I mean, he had 20 of 27, 324, three touchdowns. Ocho, this is your level of expertise. How impressed are you with Cedric Ocho? He knows, the stadium knows, the whole world knows he's gonna get the ball.

And they got two guys around him, they got three guys around him, and he still comes down with the football.

Chad Johnson (1:00)

Hey, Uncle Joe, for one, I can, I play games all the time, but I'm watching Jeremiah Smith since he was young. I've been watching him since he was young, Uncle, I had the opportunity to see him in high school. I was able to go to a few games when he was at Chaminade down here in Miami. 7-on-7 battle, all the tournaments that they play. He was doing this, not only in Little League, not only in high school, not only in the 7-on-7, the fact that he's doing it at Ohio State as well, it's not shocking to me being that he's done it on every level of football that he's played at. I didn't expect him to be this good this early.

He's dominating. Like you said too, his freshman year, his freshman year joke, if he was allowed to come out his freshman year. So seeing him do it his freshman year, do it his sophomore year and doing it again in junior year, I mean, at times, seeing some of the balls that he catch, pause. At times, seeing some of the catches that he makes, my mouth drops open.

The defensive coordinator has called plays to stop him by putting two people on him and he's still making the plays. He's still making the plays and he's making it look so easy. Everything looks so effortless every time.

Shannon Sharpe (2:20)

Yeah.

I think with his big body, Uncle Ochocinco, the way he creates separation, it seems like to me, the man to man cover, I'm like how in the hell is he open every damn time? I mean, the man is just ridiculous, bro. I think he's going to be a hell of a player when he gets to the NFL. He just seems like a kid who's focused on what it is he's trying to do. He wants to compete, he comes out and compete weekend after weekend. Man, can't nobody stop that boy. He's going to be number one pick man, especially if the Dolphins get him. If the Dolphins get the number one pick, he for sure going one.

Chad Johnson (2:57)

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, Joe. He coming to Miami. You hear me?

Going to win the Heisman. Now, listen, it'd be highway robbery, Uncle. I know saying is playing well. Saying has to throw the ball, but you know what has the hard part? It's the person on the other end of those passes. That's the more difficult part. It's easy to have a player like that. The best college, I think that might be too much. I was going to say the greatest wire receiver in all of college football in history, but no. Right now.

Now, because we did have Randy Moss.

Shannon Sharpe (3:38)

You remember Fitzgerald had 22 receiving touchdowns his junior year.

Chad Johnson (3:42)

Crabtree went back to back.

Shannon Sharpe (3:44)

Crabtree have 134 catches, almost 2,000 yards. Receive it. Let that sink in. A receiver with almost 2,000 yards, Ochocinco.

Chad Johnson (3:55)

Smith is doing this year at Ohio State.

Shannon Sharpe (3:58)

The consistency.

Chad Johnson (3:58)

It's impressive.

It's impressive. And you think about it. Year after year.

Shannon Sharpe (4:04)

Not to cut you off, Ochocinco, but you look at it like one guy had the most receptions, and one guy had the most receiving yards, and one guy had the most touchdowns.

He has seven games. Seven. To get four touchdowns and become the big 10 all time leader in receiving touchdowns. He'll pass Braylon Edwards.

Chad Johnson (4:26)

Yeah, he gonna get that.

Shannon Sharpe (4:29)

Receiving yards. Maybe it's some, I think somebody from Purdue had like got had like four got like like three 400 by 300 catches. I know.

Chad Johnson (4:44)

What a Braylon ever's have that year?

Shannon Sharpe (4:52)

How many times that you have an Oregon State your last year?
