NFL teams were informed today that players who return to college will not be permitted to return to the NFL during the 2020-2026 season. According to Adam Shepter, a player signed to an NFL contract who is subsequently cut is a free agent. He may sign with another NFL club or the CFL or return to college, but that player is considered a free agent and will not be subject to future draft. So in other words, you go back to college, guess what, you can't go back in the draft and get drafted again. Period. And if I'm not mistaken, the Big Ten and the SEC rule that players that went to the NFL are not allowed to come back to college.
So guess what that means, Ojo, if you get cut, you better work your ass off to try to get on somebody else practice squad. Because boy, you in purgatory. You ain't in heaven, you ain't in hell, but you just. Yeah.
