It was a gift, man, I started singing it when I was like five years old, because I had been around it, you know, and it really became something I wanted to do when I got to high school, and I knew that I started singing, Bobby Brown and the chicks was like feeling this, I was like, I'm on to something right here. That's what made me like take it seriously then.

To be honest, man, I don't, because I mean, I still listen to the Stevie Wonder's and the Michael Jackson's. When I play those records, they still feel the same to me, you know what I'm saying, like they never get old to me. So I felt like I wanted to make that type of music, you know, and I really feel like I accomplished that.
