Teaser is not doing great. See, I knew that's what you were going to say. You lose two legs on a teaser.

Nick Wright (0:46)

You know what? Losing two legs same as losing one or three. It just means you lost. I do need to remind you, you've been doing the teasers for four years on the show. Three of the four years, you've had bad starts.

You got to get your feet underneath you. Get the whole thing going.

Demonsay (1:03)

Look around.

Nick Wright (1:04)

Get the landscape and so don't worry. Don't get too down. We're fine. This one's a hit. Listen, week one, I went two and three.

Week two, I absolutely should have gone five and oh. I was dialed. My winners were never a doubters. My two losers, I was covering for big portions of the game or right there. So let's go to our week two pick recap. So, Demonsay, we've got here, Steelers getting five and a half at New England.

My handicap on that was Pittsburgh's defense is good. New England's offense is not. Pittsburgh should be able to move the ball a tiny bit. That part was wrong. And it was the Rodgers.

Demonsay (1:59)

Back door was open for a while.

Nick Wright (2:00)

Back door was open until the Rodgers fumble six. The Steelers faced a fourth and 44

They had a fumble six. Like the Patriots often scored 13 points. That's why I liked Pittsburgh plus five and a half. The problem was the Steelers often scored three, and the Patriots defense scored seven, so that was a loser.

Carolina minus two and a half at Atlanta. They won by 100 They were in control the entire time. It was Cooper Rush. We saw Jack Strand. No problem. Vegas getting six and a half at the Chargers. They could have been minus six and a half, and they cover. I told you guys they could win outright. They did. Jacksonville getting two and a half at Denver. They just stone blew it.

Like that was a maddening loss, and they controlled the first three quarters of that game. That was, to Denver's credit, a very 2025 Broncos-style win, and then Seattle laying three and a half out of Arizona. They crushed them.

I told you guys correctly, that line was wrong because folks, oddly, the Los Angeles Chargers were the reason that line was wrong. Folks looked at the Cardinals beating the Chargers, and they're like, oh man, Cardinals might be good, as opposed to accepting the reality of, oh man, the Chargers are not good. And so, our three winners covered by a combined literally like almost a hundred points, and our three losers or two losers right there. But so, we're steady, we're even, we're five and five on the year. We now have a very interesting week three line up. Let's get to the games we are staying away from first.

Demonsay (3:49)

First day away is Chargers at Buffalo. Buffalo is favored by seven and a half.

Nick Wright (3:54)

So, I think the right side here is Buffalo. Because, as you guys know, I don't think the Chargers are good. I think that the Bills' second consecutive home game feeling great, you know, waiting for their September Championship rings to arrive. Josh Allen trying to put up, you know, get even more space in the MVP race. Maybe, just maybe, fingers crossed, they let James Cook score a couple of touchdowns this week.

With that said, desperate teams season on the line in the Chargers.

Maybe a little fat and happy reading the Press Clippings team in Buffalo. Plus, the lack of past defense the Bills have demonstrated thus far this year means the back door would always be open. So, that's why, so Chargers plus set.

There is certainly a real scenario where the Bills come out flat, the Chargers take advantage and they beat them. There is an even larger scenario where the Bills are in total control of the entire game, but the Chargers lose by less than seven and a half. And so, my lean is Buffalo, but I'm staying away from it. I have no bet. Believe it or not, who, let me ask you this. This is a fun one before we move on to the next game. Who do you think I'm rooting for in this game?
