MSTR Today: Peak Retardation?

Welcome to MSTR Today and the Treasury Titans. It's Friday, it's August 7th, it's JLD, and nothing in this video is financial advice. And Michael Saylor wants us to know that we better think digital. The present is digital, Bitcoin is digital, the future is digital, we better think digital. Fire Nation, let's go. And we have a great little post from Strategy that says, Strategy is doing what? They are leading institutional Bitcoin adoption and intends to remain a net buyer of Bitcoin. So what is Strategy doing? Well, Strategy is the largest institutional holder of Bitcoin. Strategy has 842,000. I bet a distant second with 744, the United States a distant third with 328,000, and then it just goes way, way down from there. So what is Strategy going to do? They're going to continue leading institutional Bitcoin adoption and they intend to remain a net buyer. They're telling you what they're doing. They're transparent. They are signalling. They are just operating at a higher level than most people can realize. And Michael Saylor says, guess what? Bitcoin doesn't need clarity. America needs clarity. Bitcoin has never needed clarity, but America definitely needs clarity. And this is on the news that the Senate delays the CryptoClarity Act vote until after the summer recess. Now we're looking at mid to late September as the next possible time. But Erme wants us to know that one way or another, this is already price day. And as you can see, the market did not really react to this whatsoever. The market is not expecting politicians who are just corrupt and incompetent, and most of them scum of the earth, not expecting any of them to do anything, even mildly correct. They're just on their own little dirty agendas. And guess what? The SEC has already stepped up and said, we are going to provide clarity if and when the Senate fails in providing clarity. So, expect more on that soon. But again, we're going to get clarity one way or the other. But Michael Saylor wants us to know, we don't need clarity. And I actually did want to just message Matthew Cratter, because he's been just talking so much trash about Michael Saylor and strategy, despite proving over and over again to not have a clue on what the MSTR playbook is, on what strategy's strategy is. He's done no work. He just is desperate for clicks, for click bait, for attention, for $4.12 every two weeks from Elon Musk. So I just wanted to just ask him, hey, Matt, stretch is in a death spiral. Please advise. Because again, he let us know back when stretch was in the high 70s, low 80s, that it was going to the 40s. Yet for some reason, now it's climbing pretty quickly back towards 100 So I just wanted to ask him what was going on there, because I'm curious. I will actually even kind of go up here. At MSTR underscore today. And you can be one of my 5,380 followers. So again, I definitely got a lot of comments as well for a post of this size. People were just really wanting to throw in their two cents. Mostly bears, by the way, mostly haters. If you want a couple of chuckles, you can see how I engaged with those trolls and clueless bears. Jeff says, Bitcoin has had 4,396 4-year return periods since inception. Every single one is positive. The current 4-year K-year is 29%. The 0.4% percentile, 99.6% of the worst outcomes is 9.1%.
The 50th percentile is 94%.
This is absolutely insane. The numbers don't lie, so all you bears can cry yourselves to sleep. Chris says, I can maybe forgive you for being bearish MSTR towards the top of a Bitcoin bull market. But being bearish MSTR towards the bottom of a Bitcoin bear market is peak retardation. Now, fortunately for us, there's a lot of peak retardation out there. Why do I say that? Because it's allowed me to absolutely back the truck up and buy Strategy in the 90s, in the 80s. I even got a couple of shares in the 70s. I mean, it wasn't nearly as many as I wish I had. But I've been able to back the truck up. So watch out above when Bitcoin starts making its march because Saylor and Strategy have absolutely put together a behemoth. So we got some great things coming. And by the way, Chris is a person. This is why I like him. When MSTR was trading at like over $500 and was at like 4X MNAV, he actually was saying, guys, this is what euphoria looks like. Like he was posting things like that. And I appreciated it at the time. Of course, I was hoping he was wrong, but he wasn't. But it was really good to see that Chris gets excited at times like this because I do as well. And I've been backing up that truck. I hope you've been able to buy a couple shares as well.
