Finding a gift isn't usually the hard part. It's finding something that actually feels personal, like you really thought about the person instead of just checking a box. That's where Zazzle is such a great idea. You can take something like a mug, tote bag, card or phone case and customize it with a photo, an inside joke or something else that makes it completely specific to the person. I used Zazzle to make a mug for Eleanor to take to college, and I covered it with photographs of our new puppy Taffy.
Zazzle made it so easy for me to give her this memento from home to take with her.

We love the idea of creating something that could only be for that one person. Zazzle has millions of ideas to start with, or you can create something entirely your own. Everything is made on demand and more than 30 million customers have used Zazzle for their gifts.

College football is back. So Hilton called on me, the superstition concierge, to make your fan rituals a reality. Need a room to match your lucky number? We got you. Wanna make sure our team doesn't wash your lucky jersey? Oh, that smells lucky.
Hilton's unmatched hospitality can keep up with any superstition. Even a marching band wake up call at 555 and 55 seconds. Hit it.
When you need a team that will do whatever it takes on game day, it matters where you stay. Hilton, for this day.

Hello, we're here for More Happier, a podcast where we get happier. Join us for some weekend listenings, it's observations and reflections with a looser vibe. Hey, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Craft (2:03)
Hi, Gretchen.
Gretchen Rubin (2:04)
Today, we are sharing ideas for leaning into the fall with the five senses. Some of these are ideas that would make great annual traditions. Others might be something that you just tried this year as a way to really engage with the season. We are going to be revisiting past Try This at Home tips, including choose a signature color, a classic, celebrate Halloween breakfasts, make a five senses portrait and organize a tasting.
Plus we will share one listener's simple Thanksgiving tradition, which is about cultivating more gratitude and also making decorating for Thanksgiving easy.

And if you want to hear the complete original episodes these clips came from, we've linked them all in the show description.
Gretchen Rubin (2:53)
Yep, that's right. So, okay, let's listen back.
Now, this Try This at Home Tip is something that neither one of us has actually done. And I'm not sure that I really can even do it, but I think it's intriguing. I'm very, I'm thinking a lot about it, and it's to choose a signature color.
Elizabeth Craft (3:16)
Ah, it is intriguing. It's like the word panache comes to mind. I feel like if I have a signature color, maybe you have some panache.
Gretchen Rubin (3:28)
Well, I was inspired to think about this as I try this at home by two people. One is a writer named Christopher Mason on Facebook has this kind of thing that he will do where he posts a picture of something orange, you know, and he tags it like bizarre obsession with orange. And it's, I get a surprising amount of pleasure out of just seeing these pictures of things that are like a really cool shade of orange and like seeing, oh, this rusted wall is a beautiful shade of orange or here's this vase from the 17th century that has a beautiful shade of orange. And that can be sort of caught up in this idea of color as being, like if you have a particular color that you're picking out, it enriches your day. And then my law school roommate, who I have to say is a really practical person, you wouldn't necessarily think of her as somebody who would do this. She picked fuchsia, which is like this bright pink purple as her signature color.
And she pulled out her wallet, and it was this fuchsia. I was like, wow, what a color. And she's like, oh, yeah, well, that's my signature color. And I was so intrigued by that.
Elizabeth Craft (4:33)
I love it. I was talking to Sarah about this yesterday, my writing partner. And she immediately was like, OK, I have to have a signature color. And her daughter's name is Violet. So we're like, well, obviously, you know, it's going to be in the purple world. And so we kind of landed on a really pretty lavender color. And she actually went to the Pantone website and she actually picked the exact shade that she wants to be her signature color.
