Money and relationships. How should money, because you know, what the thing about money is that, money is a tool, right? And it can be used for to build or to destroy.

And money is one of the biggest factors in divorces.

Troy Millings (0:18)

Is it? Well, yeah, it's true.

Rashad Bilal (0:20)

So money and relationships, what's the role of money and relationships? Like, how do you think money should be, um, utilized, talked about?

Um, when do you start the conversation? Because this is a lot of awkward moments that people don't really have.

Troy Millings (0:40)

Awkward, though.

Rashad Bilal (0:41)

Because nobody likes to talk about money.

Troy Millings (0:43)

Why? Well, I do.

I do. I think you got to have an uncomfortable conversation. Early?

Rashad Bilal (0:47)

Early in our relationship?

Troy Millings (0:48)

Man, if I'm, yeah. If I think we're going to end up in a relationship, we got to have a conversation early and often. What's your dream? What's your vision? What business can we build together?

Are you investing? Are you a spender? Are you a saver? You got to have them tough conversations in the beginning.

Rashad Bilal (1:05)

Do you think that a woman's role is to work or stay home? You got those kinds of conversations?

Troy Millings (1:10)

Absolutely. And I don't think a woman should work outside of the castle.

You can't be in my castle and go work for another king. But you also got to provide a motherfucking castle, first and foremost. So you got to work in the business or have your own.

Rashad Bilal (1:26)

Okay, this is interesting.

Troy Millings (1:28)

Yeah.

Rashad Bilal (1:28)

So you don't want your girl or wife working for anyone else?

Troy Millings (1:33)

No.

Because you're helping somebody else build their empire. And if I'm going to take care of everything, then help me build what's here. That's also another sign of like, do you also believe in division 1000 percent?

What the fuck are you going to Goldman for if I got this? And they ain't find you. I took 11 trips off. I didn't take 11 off Goldman on accident. So y'all can see all that. It's giving broke because he said, fly yourself out. Like como playa capo, por te fino. What the y'all talking about? What? Big as the what? No, no, what can stop the castle? Working south of the castle. Style is everything, bags, everything. What are we talking about?

Rashad Bilal (2:22)

So if they want to work, then they should be working.

Troy Millings (2:25)

Either have your own business or work inside of the empire.

Rashad Bilal (2:29)

Is that a deal breaker for you?

Troy Millings (2:32)

Unless you're grossing more than I'm grossing you.

Rashad Bilal (2:40)

Yeah, interesting.

Troy Millings (2:41)

I wish a would tell me, I can't go somewhere, because my boss at Chick-fil-A said I can't go. Bitch, how about that building? Tom, what are you talking, no.

Add some value here. What?

Rashad Bilal (2:53)

But for the average person that doesn't own their own business, or is not financially, is financially sturdy enough to pay for their spouse. The average person, right?

Troy Millings (3:05)

Get in the position where you can, so your girl don't go dancing amelie.

Now we want to talk, we want to talk. His swag was off anyway.

That little dusty hat and shirt he had on, boy no haircut. I said, boy you, and he had a bird anyway. Let that go be at the zoo. You know, Brooklyn. But for the average person, you gotta have a conversation and say, here's what I want to get to in two years. And I always say, if you have to ask your girl, does she believe in a vision? Like you said, some things, if you're asking her, she don't believe. Don't believe. You gotta get you someone who willing to build. And that's why you just can't pick off looks or vibe or who not will. Like my homegirl Foxy tell me all the time, like you gotta get somebody who's also gonna invest in you. You gotta be able to willing to put something in. You wanna fly around and have fun and all this access that I built, all right, that's cool. But what do you go important to this to keep this shit sustainable and keep it going?

Rashad Bilal (4:01)

No, for sure, I agree. Yeah, I agree.

Troy Millings (4:03)

I know I may have said it, Gruff, but that's for entertainment purposes, you know.

Rashad Bilal (4:07)

Yeah, okay. So even, so your kids, because we talked about this before, I just felt like, so how you feel about your kids working a job?
