Monday Gun Day with Guy Relford is, as always, brought to you by Premier Arms in Brownsburg. Best place to get ammo, your firearm, and if you're thinking about getting a firearm, maybe that first one for the family. Speak to the well-trained experts at Premier Arms in Brownsburg. Low prices, the best staff. Monday Gun Day's proud sponsor. Now, Guy Relford is out today. He's got a pretty important trial that he's working on, and hopefully we'll have him back next Monday, but this might be a deal where he's gone for a couple of weeks. But, Monday Gun Day lives on, and the question that I posed to all of you, have you ever shot someone or have you ever been shot? And there's a lot of different avenues that this could go, Nig. You brought it up earlier. Maybe you were cleaning your gun or playing with the gun, and you went full Cheddar Bob in 8 Mile and shot yourself. Or maybe somebody broke into your house and you went full Dirty Harry and took their head clean off.
Either way, 239-9393.
Tio is up first. Tio, tell us, have you been shot or shot someone?

**SPEAKER_3** (1:38)
Hey, guys, I've been shot at and I shot somebody.

**Hammer** (1:42)
Okay, let's start with being shot at. Why were you shot at?

**SPEAKER_3** (1:48)
I was getting in my car going to work. I was working third shift, and I was the only car at the parking lot. When I approached my vehicle, I saw two shadows coming on my left. I started going for my gun, and one of the carjackers, he began firing at me.

**Hammer** (2:05)
Oh, my goodness.

**Nigel** (2:06)
So these were carjackers.

**Hammer** (2:07)
Carjackers, yeah.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:09)
Yeah, they attempted to carjack me, and I started pulling my gun when they started firing at me.
Both of them did, and I zigzagged my way out of the car towards my buddy's apartment that I was leaving.
One of them ran around the building and ambushed me at my buddy's apartment door. Well, I didn't hear it, because I blew my eardrums out. I was using a 10-millimeter. And so all I saw was sparks. It was like dark. It was nighttime. So I saw sparks. I've been playing Cold Duty all my life. I knew they were firing at me even though I can't hear it, but I know they are. So I'm trying to dodge back again away from there, and I fell over some chairs. The guy stood over me. He's trying to kill me. And I had a few bullets left. But this is happening really, I'm telling you this, but it's happening kind of like in slow motion. So I had more bullets left. As I'm falling, I see my leg is in the way, but I started shooting anyway. Anyway, they did not hit me. They missed. And I shot one of them in the chest with a 10-millimeter with my Glock that I bought from Premier Arms. And then I called the police. They found him bleeding in the truck.
It was a boy under 15 He was really skinny. And my hollow point went through him. So there was no bullet.
A neighbor said she saw a white guy shooting left and right, running around. So they took me to jail. And five hours later, the detective came and said that they saved his life. And there's no bullet. Because obviously it went through him. So there's no evidence. And I got my gun back from the property room within like two weeks.

**Nigel** (3:55)
That is so scary. That's the scariest.

**Hammer** (3:58)
That sounds like a damn movie, Tio. That sounds like a movie, my man. And I'm glad that you're all right. And again, this is why people carry. I mean, walking out to your car one night. I get it. Thank you so much, brother. We appreciate your time. Paul is up next. Paul, welcome to Monday Gun Day.
Have you been shot or have you shot someone?

**SPEAKER_5** (4:21)
Well, okay. My, my may not count for you guys, but it's been both because I spent 16 years in the Army.

**Hammer** (4:29)
Okay.

**SPEAKER_5** (4:29)
It wasn't downtown. It wasn't downtown Indianapolis. You know, it was a lot safer where I was at.
But yeah, I was shot in the right side of the chest. So right side of the chest. And then I shot multiple people, which at first was kind of tough. But after a while, when you start to realize they're going home or you're going home, and I really wanted to go home bad when it was my time to go home. So I did the best I could do to try to make sure that I made it home.
