Well, still no arrests after gun violence overnight at a Brooklyn chicken shop. Two employees were hit by gunfire at America's Best Wings and Pizza in Brownsville. And one of them died after being shot in the head. Police say they got a 911 call about an assault in progress at the restaurant on Rockaway Avenue shortly after midnight. Melvin Irby lives nearby.

**Melvin Irby** (1:07)
Gun violence in this area can be bad, but like I said, I haven't seen anything happen to any of these stores. I really haven't.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:15)
A second man was also shot. The 39-year-old victim is in stable condition now after getting wounded in the leg. Police haven't released the name of the 44-year-old man that died while they notify family.

**Lauren Barry** (1:27)
As of Friday, August 28th, police had still not made arrests in the case. 1010 Wins also reported on a road rage case that turned fatal last weekend.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:40)
Well, there's a manhunt underway after a deadly road rage incident in Brooklyn late last night.

**Suzanne Calucci** (1:44)
A 27-year-old man is dead, gunned down just before 10 Friday night near Crescent Street and Stanley Avenue in East New York. Sources tell 1010 Wins it was sparked by road rage. Police are searching for a black Lexus seen fleeing and the driver inside. When the NYPD got to the scene, they found the victim critically hurt with gunshot wounds to the chest and torso. He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital but couldn't be saved. No word yet on what may have led up to the apparent deadly confrontation on the road. The NYPD's crime scene unit spent the night searching for clues as investigators tried to figure out exactly what happened and why.

And in Queens, 1010 Wins reported on a fatal stabbing that occurred last weekend as well.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:35)
Laurelton, Queens, the scene of a fatal stabbing last night, cops responded to a call outside 220-20 Merrick Boulevard.
There, they found a 33-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. Jose Scott was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. So far, no word what happened and no arrests. There was a fatal hit-and-run over the weekend in the village. A 22-year-old woman was killed while crossing the street at around 5 Sunday morning at West Washington Place and 6th Avenue. Corey Schwartz tried to help. He spoke to CBS2.

**Corey Schwartz** (3:06)
All of a sudden, we saw a group of people screaming, and I saw the girl laying on the floor right here.
So I immediately ran over and checked her pulse. She had a pulse shortly thereafter. The police came and then the ambulance.

**SPEAKER_5** (3:19)
Destiny Murrell of Brooklyn was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, she didn't make it. She was with a group of five others who were not harmed. At this point, the only info on the car is that it was gray.

**Lauren Barry** (3:30)
On the other side of the country, Audacy station KCBS Radio in the Bay Area reported on multiple stabbing incidents this Tuesday.

**SPEAKER_7** (3:39)
The Fruitvale BART station, it was one of four stabbing scenes now being investigated by Oakland police. This all started last night after 7 o'clock with officers responding to reports of a shooting at nearby Cesar Chavez Park. It turns out it was the first of several stabbings.

**SPEAKER_8** (3:58)
At the same time, another call came in at the 3800 block of San Leandro of another stabbing incident.

**SPEAKER_7** (4:05)
Oakland Police Chief James Beer says there was a third stabbing at the Fruitvale BART station and then two more on International Boulevard. That's where Beer says bystanders flagged down officers and pointed them toward the suspect who fled on foot.

**SPEAKER_8** (4:20)
When the officers caught up to the suspect, they ordered him at gunpoint to put the knife down for the safety of the community and that of the officers. He complied and he was safely taken into custody.

**SPEAKER_7** (4:32)
Now there are multiple victims, one person deceased, two in critical condition, two in stable condition. A motive for this bloody stabbing spree is unknown. Live from the scene in Oakland, Matt Bigler, KCBS.
