Trump says he was at the Democratic National Convention 18 months ago and a Democratic friend of his came up to him wearing a chain with an ID on it. Wait a second. Trump thinks he was at the DNC.

What is Trump talking about? Again, he is completely disoriented and confused. Take a look.

Donald Trump (1:10)

When we had the convention not so long ago, friend of mine came over and he actually is a Democrat, if you can believe it, but he's a friend of mine. I'm sure he voted for me, but he had the biggest identification card I've ever seen. He had like a chain and the thing was like this, like he was a prisoner, a murderer, you know, where they put the picture up, the number, and he had more stats about himself. He had his picture. He had everything. I don't know, they might have even had his Social Security number, but they had that because he's a Democrat going into the Democrat National Convention, like 18 months ago. And he came over and he had the card. I said, What do you do with that thing? It's massive.

Are you strong enough to even carry it around your neck?

And yet they do that. And you go to a grocery store, you need identification.

David Pakman (2:01)

What the hell is this guy talking about? Is he talking about a Democrat? But he actually meant that the Democrat went to the RNC or is Trump so deluded that Trump believes that he himself was at the DNC?

We just have absolutely no idea. He's delusional. He doesn't know where he is or what's going on.

Milo Yiannopoulos spent years demanding this massive immigration crackdown, far more extreme, honestly, than even what Donald Trump was proposing. And then Donald Trump's immigration system came for Milo Yiannopoulos, who has now been deported. Take a listen to what he had to say about the experience.

Milo Yiannopoulos (2:40)

I didn't really, I didn't really understand the physical reality of how institutionalized the brutality is in America.

The manner in which they arrest you, they put your manacles, your hands, your feet, chain it together. I mean, everybody is arrested is like an MS-13 gang member and it hurts a lot more than it looks like on television. I was put from detention facility to correction facility. Every three hours, they were trying to keep ahead of my lawyer, so I couldn't, you know, so whatever. But no one would tell me anything. It was, I mean, I know it's designed to be like that, but it was sure it was humiliating and it was disorientating the rest of it. It was physically degrading.

It was frightening. It was frightening. I don't think I've ever been frightened like that before.

David Pakman (3:32)

You all know me, I don't take pleasure in somebody saying they were traumatized. There's a political point here. And the point is basic human empathy is supposed to allow you to understand that something could be horrible even if it doesn't happen to you. Mike Johnson repeatedly said this is going to be brief. It's going to be manageable. It's a skirmish. It's not a war. Whatever happens to energy prices will be very temporary. And now more than six months into it, CNN's Manu Raju confronted the speaker of the House with his very predictions and asked a really straightforward question.

Should Americans be judging you based on the predictions you made, which were wrong?

And his response is, your question is stupid.

Manu Raju (4:18)

On Iran, you said repeatedly that this war was going to be over soon. You said that this would be a temporary blip on short term on gas prices. It is said more than six months people are getting hurt still at the pump. Should the American people not also judge you on your projections here that we're clearly off base?
