Bitcoin just suffered one of its sharpest pullbacks of the cycle, wiping out billions in market value and triggering extreme fear across the market. While critics blame Michael Saylor and ETF outflows hit record levels, Saylor says something much bigger is happening behind the scenes.

The man who holds over 4% of the Bitcoin supply has finally broken a silence on the Bitcoin situation. Bitcoin just crashed to 61,000 this morning, and everybody is blaming Michael Saylor. However, this morning, Michael finally spoke out for the first time since he sold his Bitcoin over the weekend. And he shared a new theory surrounding Bitcoin's price crash that no one is talking about. Welcome back to Satoshi.
All right, we have a lot to get into. Bitcoin just erased $250 billion in market cap in just 72 hours. The Fear and Greed Index is sitting pretty at 12 12? That's extreme fear territory, baby. And everyone online is doing their thing. They're panicking, pointing fingers, posting charts, while quietly somewhere someone is buying. And they're not boasting about it.
Now, the tape is ugly. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. Bitcoin spot ETFs just hit a record setting, 13-day streak of consecutive outflows, May 15th to June 3rd, $4.3 billion pulled out. 59,000 Bitcoin gone from the ETFs in just less than two weeks. Quote, the recent selling is essentially the worst ever recorded. The 7-day, 10-day, and 12-day trailing windows are each the single largest outflow on record. So essentially, this is a big deal. And into all of this chaos walks our buddy, Jim Cramer. Jim Cramer went on CNBC this morning and said multiple times, Saylor murdered Bitcoin.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:45)
You know, Saylor killed Bitcoin. Yeah.

**Sophie** (1:47)
Saylor.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:48)
By Saylor.

**Sophie** (1:48)
Saylor murdered Bitcoin.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:49)
They sold, it was a matter of a few million. He bit, he murdered.

**Sophie** (1:53)
Doesn't matter.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:53)
No, he just murdered. The symbolism of the strategy is that he murdered it.

**Sophie** (2:00)
He said, and I quote, you know how Scott Pelley said 60 Minutes was murdered by the new team? Saylor murdered Bitcoin. He just murdered it, sir. The man who has been wrong about stocks longer than most of us have been alive just declared Bitcoin dead on television repeatedly. Guys, Jim Cramer just said Bitcoin is dead. It's time to buy. Smash buy. Go all in.
Just listen to me. I'm not even going to say what that means for the price. You know what it means for the culture. So, you know, do what you got to do. This is not financial advice. But here's what I actually want to talk about because while everyone was screaming about Saylor killing Bitcoin, Saylor himself finally broke silence. And his take, it's not what the noise machine is saying. Saylor says this is a capital rotation, not a Bitcoin impairment. His exact words, capital markets are funding the AI build out at historic scale, roughly $400 billion over six months. Bitcoin ETFs have seen about $4 billion in outflows since May 14th, pressuring Bitcoin. This is the capital rotation, not a Bitcoin impairment. Volatility creates opportunity. In other words, people aren't selling Bitcoin because they hate Bitcoin. They're selling Bitcoin because they need cash to chase the next hot thing.
SpaceX, for example, Anthropic, whatever IPO everyone suddenly has to own. And here's the wild part. One analyst put it perfectly. In the future, that correlation breakdown will itself become the fuel, meaning the moment Bitcoin stops moving with everything else, that's when we might see some fireworks, and that's actually pretty bullish. And if you've been buying Bitcoin all along, and you're thinking about your own financial privacy, what it actually means to transact outside of the view of the state, the Bitcoin Way is where that conversation starts. Tell them Satoshi sent you. Okay, now I want to show you something that people on X are actually losing their minds over. Four weeks ago on May 10th, Michael Saylor posted, Let's recap the earnings call.

**SPEAKER_2** (4:27)
Let me recap the earning call.

**Sophie** (4:31)
And someone resurfaced it today with the caption, How did we not see the signals? Hindsight is free and so is the pain, right?
So much pain, maximum pain when you're in Bitcoin. Meanwhile, in the I can't look away corner of the internet, we have Dave Portnoy.

**SPEAKER_2** (4:50)
I'm panicking, like people panic, I'm panicking. And when you panic, when there's boy in the streets, that's when you buy, that's when you have to have the diamond hands, that when you have to be like, all right, everyone else is bailing, jumping overboard. I'm saying crypto, it's 63,000, XRP of $1.17.
That's the two I own. I own a ton of Bitcoin, a good amount of XRP, and I'm losing millions, millions, losing millions.
