Hey, you guys want to watch a bunch of Brain Rot Slop? I don't really want to, but my associate producer, Professor Jacob, all day when he's supposed to be doing his job, he just sits there on his phone, drooling out of one side of his mouth, just watching Brain Rot go up through the reels. And so he insisted that I watch some too. And so because he is perpetrating this injustice on me, I am perpetrating it on you. Take it away.
So it's not like a joke. I don't think that Americans would find that funny.
**SPEAKER_2** (0:46)
No, it is not a joke.
**Michael Knowles** (0:47)
Yeah. There's nothing I'm supposed to get. In a way, look, I want to keep an open mind, because I have an appreciation of dadaism, for instance, like the dada art movement, which was at its core just about absurdity.
I think it's bad and maybe evil, but I kind of get it. It kind of titillates me maybe in a way that I should feel guilty about. But so the brain rot, it's not that it's offensive jokes or something like that. It's more that it's just absurdity. Sometimes absurdity is really delightful, and sometimes it's not. Like in a way that sometimes when the absurdity itself seems contrived, it doesn't work for me. So this is like, imagine if glitter dissolved into a kitten corn dog. Wouldn't that be so weird? You're weird, buddy.
**SPEAKER_2** (1:38)
You're weird.
**Michael Knowles** (1:39)
It's kind of like, it's like a try hard girl in her 20s.
**SPEAKER_2** (1:42)
I'm a girl.
**Michael Knowles** (1:43)
No, you're not. Yeah, he's a cool guy with long hair. She wants to impress the guys and she's so quirky. You know, she's so weird. She's so special and quirky. It's kind of like that. Okay, next one. I hope it's better.
**SPEAKER_3** (1:54)
The Justice League of America.
The protectors of a disproportionate amount of the world's wealth. Led by... JOOPERMAN!
**SPEAKER_2** (2:06)
$30? What do you need $20 for?
**SPEAKER_3** (2:10)
SPIDER-JOO!
**Michael Knowles** (2:17)
That doesn't even make sense. It would be like my Spidey sense. It would be about him, not about the other guy.
**SPEAKER_3** (2:22)
Shabbatman!
I'm here to break you out, Jeffrey. To the Shabbatmobile. It's a bird! No, no, it's a well-balanced Roth IRA! Hey, Aqua Jew!
**Michael Knowles** (2:36)
Hypothetically speaking, of course. Is this just Ben? I'm doing all your fish breaths, hypothetically.
**SPEAKER_2** (2:39)
Swim into the Mariana Trench for me, to search for some shekels.
**SPEAKER_3** (2:44)
And the Jew lantern!
**SPEAKER_2** (2:46)
So, what do you do again? Well, I can recommend diversified investment products like stocks or index funds to match your risk tolerance and manage your portfolio over time. I'm not gonna say what kind of superhero it was.
It was a Jewish superhero.
**SPEAKER_3** (3:04)
What will they make Trump do next? Tune in next time on an all new episode of The Justice League!
**Michael Knowles** (3:11)
Yeah, okay. First of all, I hire a religious Jewish producer.
And he turns out to be the most anti-Semitic person on the internet.
**SPEAKER_2** (3:21)
Jew, Jew, Jew, Jew, Jew, Jew, Jew, Jew, Jew!
**Michael Knowles** (3:24)
At least I've got this Jewish producer. Surely I can... No, he's more anti-Semitic than like all of Twitter combined. You know, it's a funny bit, the idea of like, Juperman or the Justus, it just went on too long. But so now I'm confused because sometimes the brain rot is just absurdity and sometimes it's a joke. And the brain rot's not really doing it for me right now. Next one.
Alright, that's a little, there was a more of a logic to that one. Yeah, okay. It just wasn't even quite there. Because then at the end, you get this kind of electronic music and it's, it would have been funnier if it cut to some super hardcore edit.
You know, the edits, I'm like a hip cool zoomer now. I know about edits. Edits are this art form where it's just get to really edgy stuff with hard electronic music. But it wasn't fast enough. If it cut to a really cool gigachad edit, the duck, it would have been funnier. There's a lot more to say first though. Go to helixsleep.com/knowles, Kenna WLAS.
