This question's either gonna be so easy that one of you accidentally blurt it out loud and I have to write a new question or-
**Marques Brownlee** (1:22)
Organic light emitting diode.
**Andrew Manganelli** (1:24)
I knew that's what it was.
**SPEAKER_2** (1:26)
I was so happy you said that.
**Ellis Rovin** (1:27)
That's actually it, is it?
**Andrew Manganelli** (1:28)
Of course that's what it was.
**David Imel** (1:29)
No way, that's really it.
**Marques Brownlee** (1:30)
Oh no. I thought there's no way.
**David Imel** (1:33)
Define touchscreen.
**Marques Brownlee** (1:40)
Yo, what is up people of the internet? Welcome back to another episode of the Waveform Podcast. We are your hosts. I'm Marques.
**Andrew Manganelli** (1:45)
I'm Andrew.
**David Imel** (1:45)
And I'm David.
**Marques Brownlee** (1:46)
And it's tech-tember, which means we have plenty to talk about. That's how it usually goes. Let's see, we've got the latest meta event and there's rumors like that popped up really quickly of a new touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro, so we can talk about that. Also, some new YouTube features have been announced. We have more thoughts on the iPhone that we are currently reviewing, aka several of them, and a Rivian e-bike. So we should start with, actually, you guys wanted to show me a video that I haven't seen yet.
**Andrew Manganelli** (2:14)
I did.
**David Imel** (2:14)
I haven't seen it either.
**Andrew Manganelli** (2:15)
We keep getting tagged in this iPhone review video on everywhere and on our subreddit and I think on Discord, but I just posted it in here.
**Marques Brownlee** (2:22)
For a good reason?
**Andrew Manganelli** (2:23)
For a good reason. Okay, so I only watched the first two minutes, which is, I think, all we should watch here. But the production quality is wild and everyone keeps comparing it to us since we're known as the production quality team. I'll play it at the same time so David can watch and I want you two to describe what's going on because the effects are pretty far out there.
**Marques Brownlee** (2:42)
I'm going to click it in three, two, one.
**David Imel** (2:43)
The thumbnail is a man holding the phones out. Okay, he does a pan up and then it moves. It's definitely a robot shot and then he stands up. Now it's another robot shot.
**Andrew Manganelli** (2:53)
With like two screens showing 60 and 100 hertz, 20 hertz with like a ping pong ball going by it. And then an iPhone air that hits the ping pong ball to him.
**David Imel** (3:01)
I think it's a magic trick to turn the ping pong ball into the orange iPhone.
**Andrew Manganelli** (3:05)
Now watch this. It's on like a spinning, almost like animation dial with all the phones from the first to the end.
**David Imel** (3:13)
Holy moly. Wait, that's cool. Geez.
**Andrew Manganelli** (3:16)
And then so he spins it and all the phones of all the generations slowly capture in on like the camera, the back, the Apple logo, the front screen and goes through all of them. And then the whole thing just explodes.
**Marques Brownlee** (3:27)
Wow.
**Andrew Manganelli** (3:28)
And the iPhone 17 is floating in the air.
**David Imel** (3:30)
That looks crazy. That was crazy.
**Marques Brownlee** (3:31)
That was really well done. How much of, yeah, a lot of this is practical.
**David Imel** (3:34)
They have the little rainbow thing.
**Marques Brownlee** (3:36)
They've got their own.
**David Imel** (3:37)
Oh yeah, they do.
**Marques Brownlee** (3:38)
Oh, that bezel expansion.
**Andrew Manganelli** (3:40)
