It's Jim Cramer here. You're listening to the opening bell of CNBC Squawk on the Street. Don't miss a minute of the action.

Carl Quintanilla (0:54)

Good Monday morning. Welcome to Squawk on the Street. I'm Carl Quintanilla. Jim Cramer is back at Post 9 along with David Faber here at the New York Stock Exchange. Equity, futures and oil not far from the flat line as the US joins Israel in striking Iranian nuclear sites on Saturday. One more part of a complicated picture this week with the NATO Summit, PCE and Sheriff Powell on the Hill. Our roadmap begins with futures pretty calm as investors keep an eye on oil and Iran's response to the US bombing of its nuclear sites.

David Faber (1:21)

Plus, Tesla is launching its robo-taxis in Austin, Texas. How Wall Street is reacting to that big rollout. And America's biggest cement supplier is making its market debut today. It's going to have a $30 billion market cap. It's a spinoff of Holcim. We're going to speak exclusively with the CEO of a company called Amrize. Yeah, terrific.

SPEAKER_6 (1:41)

Big company.

Carl Quintanilla (1:42)

Let's begin, though, with the markets digesting the development surrounding the US military strikes on Iran over the weekend, Jim. A lot of discussion this morning about maybe limited options on the Iranian side going into this week.

Jim Cramer (1:54)

I think that's the way to put it. I think that we're all kind of shocked that they have almost no defenses. We know that they were the arsenal of theocracy. We knew, it turns out, boy, would they lord it for bear. But when you start running low and we can come over and bomb at will, it becomes very difficult for them to even talk about how they can close the straits of moves, maybe they can close it for a little bit. I mean, David, what you can tell us is that I'd like to compare this to what would happen if China did something where it was strategic. This is tactical. They can do something for a couple of days. And we don't know what they have in terms of uranium that we haven't found. But this country, to say that it's on the ropes is a little ridiculous, but the idea of having a regime change, I don't think anyone wants that because it has to be from internal because it just doesn't work when our country goes in anywhere.

David Faber (2:45)

No, it hasn't. And certainly there's a lot of concern given the history, whether it's Iraq or Libya, both of which are in that region to your point. And obviously there are still key questions here in terms of the enriched uranium, not to the level needed for a bomb, but close enough that may not have been actually at the site that was bombed and potentially degraded if not obliterated, to use the words of the president, Carl. But certainly some questions here as we begin, although a very muted response in the market overall. And particularly still with that risk, at least, though many people will tell you how, why that will not happen of the straits of Hormuz and what the Iranians may choose to do there or try to do. Right.

Carl Quintanilla (3:29)

There are a couple of reports of a couple tankers maybe doing a U-turn out of the strait. But China buys, it's the number one buyer of Iranian oil, a couple of million barrels a day. They wouldn't want to do any self-harm to their arguably their strongest ally right now.

Jim Cramer (3:45)

Let's just put it out there. This is very bullish for American producers that need this market, and they actually have the ability. I got Rusty Brazilan tonight from RBM, but he said that they have the ability to be able to take some market share here. I know to talk about that seamlessly. Are you kidding me? That's really something I'm focused on. But yes, if you believe US has plenty of oil, that's why I don't think that there's that much pressure on the futures. But you know, I come back after being a week away. What happens? I want to see, well, one of the things that could be heard. Well, no, I see four guys raising numbers for Kroger. I see Bank of New York, what I'm just going to talk about with David, possibly merging with Northern Trust. I see raising numbers Darden, which is a big restaurant chain. I see AMD upgraded. But there's nothing which just says, this is going to cast a pall on the following companies. So, I want very much to find out where the Achilles heel is to the market, but it's not stable coin. It's not mergers.
