Well, Mad Money, you know the interviews, you know the CEOs, you know the headlines. What you don't always get to see is everything that happens before and after the cameras start rolling. So tonight, what are we going to do? We're going to pull back the curtain. Over the years, we've been invited inside some of the most fascinating companies in America, places nobody gets to see, getting access to places, really, that people have no idea what really goes on. From factory floors and research labs, cargo plates, offshore oil platforms, we have had a front-row seat to the people and the operations that keep the country moving. But tonight, we're going beyond the interview. We're taking you behind the scenes of some of our favorite adventures across America, showing you footage you've never seen before, the sights, sounds, the stories that didn't make it into the final broadcast, but help explain what makes these companies so darn remarkable.
And we're starting with a company that's absolutely central to the American economy, FedEx.
Every day, FedEx moves millions of packages around the world through one of the most sophisticated logistics networks ever built. We got the chance to visit the company's world hub in Memphis, Tennessee, a massive operation where a whopping 56,000 packages are sorted every hour.

So this is our control center. Safety is, of course, above all, but everything, this is also managing the flows. I mean, right now, we're in the middle of a dead day sort, and the night is the whole volume. We know we get 1.5 million packages at night. The sorting, the routing and the sorting of the packages is all automated. You're just going to see 16, these six side of scanners in the thing. It's kind of monitoring every single package, all dimensions, and it's basically sending it to the right place where it needs to go, and also measuring dimensions, so we just make sure the right pricing is applied to that package as well. And so that's where the intelligence is built in. The part in the future where we need to go is the part that is the unloading of the truck, and unloading of the truck, and not in those facilities' containers, but in the ground facilities or surface facilities.
There's a lot of manual labor moving truck, unloading, and truck. Think about playing Tetris, you know, with packages of different sizes, shapes, and everything else.
So it's coming to the conveyor, it actually knows what's coming. Oh my God, well that's huge. And it starts moving and puts in, so that's physical.

You didn't tell me that you had that. Yeah. That must be relatively new.

Very new. So that's the sorter.
We talk about intelligence, so it just goes automatically to the place where it needs to go. I mean, we don't have that, because it's a morning sort, so that now, you can imagine there's so many more packages coming through, and then it's like, it's just sorted.

I think people are scared of AI.

I mean, I've been analyzing the companies that have been laying people off because of AI. The vast majority are laying people off because of this or that. Nothing to do with AI.
