You don't wait until your house is on fire to install a smoke detector. You don't wait until the wind and rain hammer your windows and the power goes out to prepare for a hurricane. You don't reach for your seatbelt after you've had a crash because after the crash, the hurricane or the house fire, it's all too late.
Similarly, you do not wait until the dollar goes to zero before you buy gold. It's too late then too.
So consider diversifying with precious metals right now because you never know what will threaten your savings next. Persistent inflation, we've all been feeling that. A weakening dollar, unexpected financial disruptions, you don't know what's coming. But you can take a preventative step right now.

Early yesterday morning in Wisconsin, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley pulling off a stunning upset in the Democrat primary for governor, narrowly defeating Democratic Socialist State Representative Francesca Hong by less than one percentage point, 39.8% to 39.4%.
Hong going into election day as the clear favorite, despite facing growing scrutiny over her far left record and resurfaced comments, including pass support for abolishing police and ICE, a call to cancel Thanksgiving, and complaints about Fourth of July fireworks. Crowley actually suspending his campaign just over a month before the primary, saying it had become clear he would not be the Democrat nominee for governor. Ten days later, Crowley jumping back into the race after Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez dropped out amid campaign finance problems with former Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes also eventually leaving the contest as the field rapidly narrowed. Outgoing Democrat Governor Tony Evers also reversing his previous decision to stay out of the primary, endorsing Crowley and campaigning for him in the closing stretch. As questions about Hong's electability against Republican nominee, Congressman Tom Tiffany took center stage. Hong speaking to supporters while the race was still too close to call, pledging that regardless of the outcome, her political fight would continue.
**Francesca Hong** (4:11)
The fight continues no matter what. Because no matter who wins this primary, we're going to continue to fight for each other.
We are going to collectively reject despair.
And we are going to unite. We're fighting for our communities whose land Tom Tiffany happens to be selling to Big Tech and Big Oil. Where it's Tom Tiffany's Medicaid cuts that are shutting down our hospitals. And when our neighborhoods and our neighbors are disappeared by uncontrolled ICE fascists, it's Tom Tiffany who shows up in support. And while he's doing that, we are fighting for hope.
