LOSING SO BADLY | Day 209 | Trump no to Hormuz deal | Ireland against Israel | Orange walk ‘madness’

MOATS with George Galloway

September 28, 2026

Trump says no. Ireland says enough. Netanyahu faces the walkout. Day 209 and the pressure is showing. Trump rejects the Hormuz deal as the Gulf crisis stays on the edge, while Ireland turns against Israel and the backlash grows over Netanyahu’s UN speech.

Massive attack!

George Galloway (0:02)

Lead singer Robert Del Naja is arrested outside of the Labour Party Conference. How's that? Hipster Andy Burnham and massive courage to the 94-year-old Jewish barrister who is arrested alongside him, and hundreds of others. Under the Terrorism Act, what did they do?

They held up a piece of cardboard. Police foil a massive attack on the laughingly called RAF Fairford, which is actually the USAF RAF base at Fairford in England, as they were preparing some new fearsome and foul attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran. What's good for the goose is not good for the gander. Of course, I'll have to be careful picking my way through that story, because not only am I contending with the contempt of court acts, I'm contending with the new Ministry of Truth, another massive attack on freedom of speech in Britain. Massive attack threatened by Donald Trump, but then just as the markets get ready to open tomorrow, he predicts that negotiations with Iran will begin this week, and the massive attack on my psyche as I visited the Museum of the Capture of Nelson Mandela. He was captured and then spent the next 27 years in prison.

Being called a terrorist by Margaret Thatcher, you see, terrorism is a very movable feast when it comes to the British state. It's all coming up here in South Africa. It's the Mother of All Talk Shows.

He likes to pretend he's a hipster with his 675 pound Swede Harrington jacket. Quite cool, actually, but I would never spend 675 pounds on a jerkin. And all the other cool paraphernalia. Andy Burnham likes to pose as Mr. Oasis. And so it's something of an embarrassment to him that the global rock and roll superstar, Robert Del Naja, was arrested right in front of Andy Burnham today for holding up a sign pasted on cardboard. You couldn't make up, but you don't have to. Because there's more than 3,000 British people under arrest under the Terrorism Act for holding up similar such placards. That's the tyranny that is Britain today. The country where 62,000 people have been arrested in the last 5 years for social media offences. The largest number of any country in the entire world. 12,000 already this year, and it's not even officially autumn yet. Well, actually it probably is by a day or two. I think the Equinox was this past week. So by the end of this calendar year, we're going to break all records. And that's before the introduction of what can only be described as George Orwell Paradise, which is the introduction of literally a ministry of truth where you will be prosecuted or in the words of the treasurer of the Fabian Society. That's right. Lenin said that some good men fell amongst Fabians. George Bernard Shaw, he had in his mind, but it's HG. Wells that should be in your mind when you think about this ministry of truth. How's that for a future for Britain? That the government will lock you up if you oppose their war that they propose with Russia. Did they mean me? I mean, I was waiting on my name to drip from his lips, the treasurer of the Fabian Society, the official labor spokesman on a television show on GB News. And Rees Mogg cluck clucked and said, yes, we did lock people up. We did abandon habeas corpus during the Napoleonic Wars, which is only yesterday for Jacob Rees Mogg, although actually it's more than 200 years ago. That's the kind of talk that is abroad now in Britain when it comes to issues of freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of expression. He said that we'll have to lock a few people up. I felt sure he was going to mention me, but why mention me? They've already debanked me. They've already held me and my wife for nine hours in total under the very same terrorism act that massive attacks lead singer was arrested under today. This is hell in Britain and it's very difficult to see how we reverse these attacks on freedom of speech in Britain. No doubt we'll talk more about that in the course of the show. They're going to intern people if they oppose Britain's intention of going to war with Russia. But let me turn now to, as I say, the vexed question of the massive attack that police and the media, on behalf of the police, say they foiled overnight at RAF Fairford. Let me stay on safe ground for just a minute. There is nothing Royal Air Force about Fairford. The King is not much saluted anywhere in the British Isles these days, but he definitely is not saluted at RAF Fairford because it is American occupied territory. It's not RAF Fairford, it's USAF Fairford. And that's where the bombers are taking off from to murder children and their mothers and fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, civilians, civilian infrastructure, bridges, water plants and all other targets in the Islamic Republic of Iran. They are taking off from the laughingly described Royal Air Force Base at Fairford. And so, this is difficult, I know. It's going to vex a lot of people. I know if there's a war going on and military attacks are being launched from a base in another country, it is entirely lawful for people to attack that base in retaliation.
